I didn't d/l this game because it really didn't strike my fancy, BUT I would like to thank the entire GGOTD team for thier effort & hard work.
It really amazes me at how cruel and greedy and unthankful a lot of the people that come to this site. They make outrageous & terrible comments about the people here & some of them obviously don't even know how to operate a puter (just cuz you tripped on your rj45 cable & unplugged it no wonder that you can't get a download). It would sure be nice to come here some time & find really good & useful comments instead of a bunch of griping. By the way White rabit, I would like to thank you for the time you put into your reviews, they are marvelous!

@14 & @22 I think I had the same problem when I first tried the game. The zombie can't be stopped nor can it change direction once it starts walking unless it hits something. For example, on level 1, if you hit the right arrow, you will go off the screen. Instead, start by going up. I hope this helps.

Thanks for this game. I only had time to try a couple levels, but I can tell it will be a thinker once I get to the harder levels.

A cute little game, rather short; we will have to use the level editor and try to make some more cool levels up.
I like these uncomplicated puzzles.
Everything runs fine on Vista HP 32.
Thanks to GGOTD and wheemplay.
Yes, it's really hard to put up with those ignorant "give-me-more-people" :(

Runs smooth on Win7 x64. Dual screen mode no problem,it uses 1 monitor, and doesn't mess with my desktopsettings nor the icons.
Played 5 levels, and it is indeed a game to play when you have nothing to do. Some are pretty hard ti find out, and it took me some time to understand that once you start moving, you can't change direction, like in Pacman.
Nice game! Nice ingame music :)

Thanks Adam, much appreciated. I normally add such things but wasn't able to spend much time on todays giveaway. Videos can save hours worth of work on writing a review. :)

Let me be one of the few people to say thank you for the giveaway, instead of slandering the opportunity. Thanks whiterabbit, your reviews are as helpful as always. Also, thank you wheemplay, without the game giveaway project, I would have never of heard of you. I will probably buy a game from you in the future. Thanks for the opportunity

Can't think why it would do that. Maybe update your flash player and see if that fixes the problem.

#5 nomen nescio: GGATOD uses the default HTTP association to open web links, same as most other programs. It is YOUR computer, however until you can write YOUR own Windows, you need to learn how to make it work the way YOU want. A computer can do a lot of things, but it can't read your mind and automatically change itself.

#9 R.B: Internet Explorer/Firefox estimates download time based on your download speed. If your internet is not stable, this estimate will change. This is the same with all web sites. GGAOTD neither wrote Internet Explorer/Firefox nor provides the download time estimates. Perhaps you'd be able to find faster and free(er?) sites elsewhere, although I seriously doubt it.

As for today's giveaway, my lappy is really slow for any kind of flash game at default(high) resolution, will try it later in low res Thanks GGAOTD.

I only have 18 active levels, which I've completed successfully. It shows an entire graveyard of gravestones with Xs on them. Are they suppose to be active?

FWIW, this is a Flash based game as WR noted -- 1 file with no impact on your system with the possible exception of the Flash cache. With the disclaimer that I grab these in case my wife likes one or another, I haven't tried going to a web page with something Flash & setting global Flash options, like hardware accel... I'd assume that's something you could try if it's not working for you.

Warning! The game is NOT available for $.99 because there is a download guarantee that must be paid in order to even get the software. I have a complete record of the scam they are pulling. When put on notice I was viven a complete refund, told the issue was resolved, case close, file deleted. Only on their end. I have all the digital files, emails and screenshots of the scam in opeation. It is outright fraud in this country. This is their final warning to cease and desist. I will expose them to the world if I must.

Was checking out feedback for today's Zombie game. I haven't downloaded yet, but I have found feedback invaluable for my computer's "State of Mind". Today I noticed that if you double click on the games title, it clearly states that you will receive "Game playing Toolbar". Need to watch for "Freebies" that download with Software. Haven't downloaded yet, but would use "icon" proved by GOTD. Other's who use IE didn't have Firefox issue and this is because???

works fine on my W7 64bit. Nice brain teaser/puzzle game. Older style graphics do not bother me or take away from my enjoyment of the solve.

But i can't get the zombie to move left or up or down, once i click the right button that it, i have no control of the zombie.
Any suggestion from the users.....

Marbles Deluxe costs about 20 times more than today's game giveaway, so it isn't really fair to compare the two! And you are getting today's Zombie Go Home free.....

The link for Halloween Night Riddle is to a MyPlayCity site. (No problem with that mind!) Good to see Halloween Night free as it was a giveaway from GameHouse in October! It gets quite difficult as Halloween Night Riddle progresses, but it's a good puzzle!

Thanks for your comment, Fubar, good point. I unstalled IncaBall (an earlier giveaway here) because it really messed up my icons. After that, MS Office 2003 refused to work because it could not start up some VB environment. I don't know if there is a connection, though.

You people make us to download for 32 minutes, 35 minutes, when internet is not working, when internet is working how we will download the software. It means you people have defect in your software. When you say download it must work. You must not make us wait for 32, 35 minutes, so don't speak lie. Looks like a cheat, thank you bye.

..........................Moderator Comment...........................

Hello R.B. No one is forcing you to download this software. For me it took a few seconds, so it would indicate that either your own connection is suspect, or the bandwidth at the server end was overloaded due to loads of community members downloading this game. It's not the fault of the giveaway project. Sorry you feel that way.

To judge from the screenshots, this game has been inspired by Pacman. I like Pacman, so I will give this a shot. Thanks

Whiterabbit, you can get a beta version of Flash Player 10.2 x64 here:
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/square/

You never mention the one thing that matters most to me--does the game mess up windows and desktop icons when run in fullscreen mode, and does it mess up multiple monitors? 99% of games are written incorrectly, it's certainly possible to handle fullscreen correctly, even when changing resolution.

.......................Moderator comment............................

I'll remember for next time Fubar. The game didn't mess my icons up. todays review is just a short one as I'm too busy to devote more time to an in depth review. :)
I do intend setting up three monitors (for my Flight sims , and a couple of Military sims - ArmA II and Operation Flashpoint) when I have the cash but at the moment I can't say whether it messes up multiple monitor displays.

Why does GOTD always uses Firefox instead of IE? It is MY computer, so I want to decide which browser I use, not YOU!!

The game sure felt like a flash game. I thought the zombie was lagging when he was walking but it really was just his normal walking speed. Full screening the game also made the graphics all pixelated. It's a simple game that reminded me of Marbles Deluxe to an extent but it had less obstacles. The game isn't that great, just ok.

Zombie Go Home:
Installation:

Zombie Go Home downloads to a 7.16MbMb zip file that unpacks to a read me file and a dual activation and set up file. The game installs to:
C\:Games\
There is no shortcut installed so you’ll need to create your own and the game installs without a folder. You can easily see the games executable because it looks like a pink brain. The game plays okay on XP Pro 32 Bit, Win 7 Ultimate and Pro 64bit and Vista Home Premium 64 bit. (Not tested any other iteration of Windows).

PicDepict.com
Introduction:

A dark ritual was performed by inexperienced voodoo cultist on the graveyard. When the earth began to shake and a zombie was raised from his grave the cultist ran away in fear. Zombie was left at the graveyard, haunted by spooky and dangerous ghosts. You need to help brainless hero get some brains, reach home... uh... grave and rest in peace! The game is a cool logical arcade thinker in zombie theme.

The Game:

Today’s game is a flash based game, so you will need a Flash program installed. You can get these free from Adobe HERE, though the latest version v10.1 is not compatible with 64 bit systems yet, so you’ll need to download an earlier version if you have win 7 , Vista or XP 64 bit:

PicDepict.com
PicDepict.com

Your goal is to guide the hero to the exit (gravestone that says Home RIP with a red downward facing arrow) without falling off the edge of the playing arena or falling down one of the holes. To get the best possible score collect the brains that appear. On later levels the difficulty is ramped up with the introduction of ghosts. They move in a particular pattern so make sure you know where they go before moving your hero. There are teleports to help you along your way. When you’ve completed the game you can create your own levels using the levels editor.

You ca restart any level by clicking on the restart button that’s located

You can play the game in your browser HERE

Conclusion:

This is a reasonable puzzle game that starts off easy and ends up quite hard (mainly due to the wandering ghosts, which require good timing to avoid). The game also sports an easy to use levels editor, which add’s an extra element to the game. For me this is worth a good 7 out of 10.
