Meet Zak and Jack, a pair of hard-working Hobsters who live in a small village called Monstertown. Famous for their clever inventions, Hobsters enjoy an earthly paradise of lush woods, paved streets and cozy houses. When word of their settlement spreads, the evil beasts of the monster world band together in an envious campaign against the goodhearted Hobsters. Luckily, Zak and Jack learn about the plot and prepare for the assault.

This is an excellent game, keeps kids busy for a long time. This game is not big at all in any way. It's just ~20MB or so. It took me all of 7.34 seconds to download! :-) Definitely a must download if you have youngsters around.

The game isn't too bad to play.
It plays smoothly, and is easy to catch on to. Fun enough to play on a smoke break or something, but doesn't really hold the attention very long.
Unlike some of the recent GGotD giveaways, this one runs really smoothly. The mouse responds properly, instead of jumping around all over the place on a computer that fares well with most games (such as Unreal Tournament, Anarchy Online, World of Warcraft).
(Now if only the Mahjongg game would behave properly. :))

I would never of dreamed of buying this software; but after giving it a trial run I got hooked. The kids aged 6 and 7 will absolutely adore this game. It looks nice and plays nice. With + & - bonuses as well as other quaint aspects, this game is sure to be a winner amongst the whole family. Thankyou Give Away of the Day team for opening my eyes to more than arkanoid, although it will always be my favorite.
With respect to givaway games I have around 120 arkanoid games. So can say I'm reasonably knowlegable about arkanoid games and would suggest trying to persuade the distributors of the following arkanoid games to give them away. I have all of these so wouldn't it benefit me, but honestly take my word for it, these are the best: Acky's XP breakout, Breakquest, Richochet, (all three of them, but the later two are better because they have a levels editor), Incrediball:The seven sapphires, 3D Brickblaster unlimited,
