In Brief:
A basketball game with six players three per side. The view is in an isometric viewpoint. All AI controlled players run around in what appears a random way centered on the basketball. You can pick up the ball from the opposition by bumping into them. Movement is using either the WASD or arrow keys. when you gain possesion hold the space bar down to initially aim the ball using the mouse pointer, then leave the space bar to throw the ball at the basket.

It's relatively easy to fall of the edge of the court, if this happens you appear back on the center line. There's only one basket, each team throwing into the same one

The game appears to be a never ending game. I left it to play automatically and both teams continued to play on wracking up a score over 100 To stop the game press the escape key which brings up a continue and Exit button in the bottom right of the court. Pressing the exit button takes you to the main menu.

You can see a video of game play HERE.
Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 65 antimalware engines. You can see the scan of the installed game HERE

I'm going to give my honest opinion on here. I've played vintage games such as Atari Basketball and at least you were able to control your player to throw the ball into the basket.

Unfortunately the design of this game is flawed in many ways. The first thing is that the title screen was not proportionate on the screen. The title screen was initially designed for 1920x1080 resolutions. On my 14" Laptop, I could barely select the option to play as it was hidden so far off to the right.

Second I could hardly call this a game. I would rather use the term "Tech Demo" as the game plays by itself without regard to controlling your little guy on the screen. Throwing the ball in the basket is glitchy. Your ball could be near the basket and if it hits the board it counts as a point.

I also did not care for the blue background and the court in the center. It's too bright for my preferences as I like to see a little bit of color for games I play. Bad choice of background blending.

Although it appears retro looking, it still has a lot to improve on to make this game a quality, playable and enjoyable game.

If you're looking for a quality arcade like Basketball game, there is one on Steam called Street Hoops: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1189520/Street_Hoop/

It was initially released by Data East on the Neo Geo and was a successful competitor to NBA Jam. The arcade port appears to be 1 to 1.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,

Not noticed Street Hoops aka Street Slam or Dunk Dream on Steam, thanks for the heads up. I like the retro look of the game. Is it a remake or a the original with some updated graphic?

There's a VR one called Basketball Madness which you can find HERE. It doesn't say it requires a VR headset, so I'm assuming it plays in both VR and non-VR. It's from a first-person perspective. Looks great with a cartoon like feel and leaderboards.

There's also a multiplayer anime styled Free to Play one called Freestyle 2: Street Basketball which you'll find HERE and another single player one called Basketball Hoop HERE (no opponents just you in First person shooting at the basket. Graphics look stylized. The game was also given away on the 21st of Dec 2020 HERE, so you may be familiar with it.

Also loads more for example PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition, Olympic Basketball, Wednesday Basketball, Basketball, Too White Basketball, Head Basketball, Desktop Basketball, Basketball, Basketball Classics.

There's also a whole bunch of NBA AAA games that include , NBA 2K Playgrounds, NBA 2KVR Experience, NBA 2K21, NBA 2K22, NBA 2K23. I have NBA 2k10 through to NBA 2K20 minus NBA 2K18 and 2K19. All of which have been removed from Steam.

There are more basketball games to find on Steam such as Hoops VR, Just Hoops, Ruffhouse VR Basketball Simulator, Basketball Babe, VR Basketball Hoops, Basketball Club Story, Blacktop Hoops, Swing Dunk, HoopsFPS, Dunk Lords, Hoops Madness, Grapple Hoops, and more.......
