In Brief:
This is basically the same game play mechanic as Flying Umbrella that we were given yesterday except instead of a girl with an umbrella you have a rock that is being blown around. Again you move the rock using the WASD keys, but this also changes the direction of the wind. The aim is to collect all the shards of rock that were previously shattered, then go collect to gold cup avoiding any monsters or traps. Once you've picked up the gold cup you are shown a brief stats table then you move on to the next of thirty levels.

The level designs are the same and even the backgrounds from each world. As you progress the levels get harder as you have to collect more rock shards to complete the level. There are three different worlds each wold having up to ten or possibly more rock shards to collect.

At the end of a level you get to see your stats that include how many clicks of the mouse you made the time spent on the level the number of rocks collected and in the bottom left of the screen the number of attempts at the level you made before completing it.

There is one difference; the developer has made it so that when you leave the game it saves your progress, so when you start up the game it allows you to continue from where you left off, but the option to start a new game seems to have been removed

I do like the retro graphics, but I'm sure I'll get really frustrated trying to progress further. That said, I'll be keeping the game as for me it's quite challenging.

You can see a video of game play HERE.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 63 antimalware engines. You can see a scan of the installed game HERE

Unstable Rock is a very interesting gameplay concept that Flying Umbrella had where you controlled the gravy to meet your goal. Not only are you controlling your character but also controlling the other elements that are flying around it as well.

Keys used were Q,W,E,A,S,D , Up and Down arrows maneuver the main menu and Enter chooses the selection. ALT-F4 exits the game anytime you want.

I found the difficulty of the first level pretty hard and the second level well it was even more so. Have still yet to master full set of the controls.

Still I loved the graphics and the audio track that plays in there, it reminds me of an 8 bit video game perhaps from a well known developer of platformers or role playing game it has that charm.

You will find challenge in here today like yesterdays game. This game is in need of dual analog support from an XBOX Controller. One Stick would control the rock and the other the wind. Same for the Umbrella game.

It's a keeper but like yesterday's game it will drive you crazy getting used to it.
