Almost forgot. Sorry to post so late. This probably won't help anyone. For a change, a Falcoware submission that no one on Steam had a bad thing to say about. 8 positive reviews. Didn't heavily scrutinize them, but there were certainly some obviously legitimate positive reviews.
Unfortunately, I can't test. Apparently this game won't play on my old 32 bit machine. Thanks anyway, GGOTD and Falcoware.
A reminder folks: the large file marked 20M has something to do with the Falcoware install process and has no integration with or effect on the game. It can be discarded, which reduces most of these games to the size of a couple of dozen Megs or so.

The reviews over at Steam are positive. You can also see a video of the gameplay there. (the Steam link is in the blue box above) The octopus looks fun! I don't have the dexterity for these kinds of games but since I was here, I thought I'd try to help out.

Underwater Rescue is a unusual type of platformer where you need to control a robot that clings to hard surfaces through its 3 tentacles, collecting scuba divers along the way while avoiding missiles. It was released Oct 31, 2021 on steam and has never been given away before on GOTD.
This is another game that attempts at using a base template for a 2D retro pixel web/clicker game (a gamemaker quick job as we'll call it)... very similar therefore to the spidded and monster phenomenon games given away on GOTD recently where you (generally) click your mouse as the only controls to move around the levels to reach a goal all while avoiding something chasing you that will harm you if you stay in place too long. Yes, its a more simple but interesting concept that can captivate some of you for a short while if you havent tried one of them yet.
Its a neat idea and has been explored slightly using a monster, spider etc in other versions as mentioned, but these games are all very short and in just a few minutes the game can be completed. A reticule is moving about you have to avoid also or the missiles will kill you if you stay in one place too long, and here is where the gameplay fails a bit imo as it causes a higher difficulty. The 'chasing you around' forces you to always move and takes away some potential enjoyment of just learning how to move around casually within the levels to collect the divers, which actually could be challenging by itself due to the controls if developed further. There is still no tutorial or area where something is not chasing you to get a better handle on the controls on any of these. I see no reason why you cant allow removing of the chasing item in options as this just makes it much harder and most people who dont get the controls and cant get past level 1 to also just have some enjoyment on a coffee break moving around and collecting things based on time to complete. These games are not usually 'developed' further such as having puzzles, changing levels, platforming to other areas using the interesting control mechanism and relies mostly on a arcade type of gameplay over a single screen typically.
For now its a quick timewaster if you want to check out something interesting in a spare few moments and therefore can be a bit of fun sometimes... but there isnt much here to captivate you to come back to.
