Please check Delenn's threads over in the giveaway forums HERE and HERE for the latest non Steam and Steam freebies; it's kept up to date frequently, whenever there's a free game becomes available (thanks for keeping this up to date Delenn, very much appreciated).

Also for the latest Steam sales check THIS Steam database site out. You can list the games in 'price' & 'percentage off' by clicking the headers. If you link SteamDB with your Steam account, all games that you already have will be highlighted in green and those in blue are on your wish list. When there are Steam games being given away, you'll see the percentage off as 100%. It's worth checking this regularly to make sure you don't miss those fantastic deals and freebies. Delenn usually posts links to all free games within several hours of them going live, so check her links at the top of this comment as well.

Don't forget to check Indie Gala's freebie section HERE, then click on the Showcase header, selecting freebies from the drop down menu; recent additions include Garfield Kart (a family oriented racing game with cartoon like graphics), Pixel Puzzles 2: Christmas ( a traditional style jigsaw puzzle game), North (asylum seeker game), Nostradamus the Last Prophecy, (a point and click mystery adventure), Snowball (A more "discovery-based" approach to pinball. Learn the secret rules of the board to access hard to reach places and rack up HUGE SCORE BONUSES, which are generally agreed to be more important than any other current event in the real world) and the full version of Die Young (you play as Nehir, a field agent of a well-known political party. The party's agenda is to deconstruct and eliminate Brother n.1, the leader of Island's community); we were previously given the prologue version, (which is still available free) Recent games such as Distortions, Dino Run DX, Cheap Golf, Kill Em All, Dead Hungry Diner and Contract with the Devil have now been removed. All remaining freebies can be found in the showcase section (around 100 are available). Not all games that go into the showcase remain free and are removed after a short period; so, you should grab them as soon as you can.

This weeks Epic freebies are a trilogy of Tomb Raider games that when not on sale would cost you upwards of £120. Two of the games are heavily discounted at 90% and 85% during the Steam sale, which ends tomorrow afternoon 6pm UK time 1pm Eastern time (if you prefer Steam versions).

These three excellent games that include all of the original expansions and DLC's will be available until the 6th January, when a new game will be offered called Gods Will Fall - Experience the trials of 8 warriors in their plight to sever the gods’ grip on humanity as you take on legions of beasts in each of the gods’ realms.

The best Indie Bundles sites that have been operating from around 2011 are the Humble Bundle and Indie Gala sites (though the latter isn't as good as it used to be) where you'll sometimes find decent bundles with over 90% off the usual price of the games included in the bundles. The Humble site is in my opinion the best. A more recent addition that is worth checking out are the Fanatical bundles (that used to be called Bundle Stars) that you can find HERE.

There are two games free over on Good Old Games (GOG) at the moment. I don't know when the first one ends, but the second one ends tomorrow afternoon 2pm UK/9am Eastern time. i.e.
Cave Story®'s Secret Santa is still available free over on GOG; when I first posted this almost two weeks ago, it wasn't actually available; you will need to revisit the page to claim the game if you tried grabbing it then, but wasn't able to).


Also available free via GOG (until Wed 2pm UK time/9am Eastern time) is Iratus Lord of the Dead a turn-based tactical roguelike RPG set in a dark fantasy universe. Lead an army of undead to help an angry necromancer in his quest to reach the surface world and bring death to the mortal realms! Oddly, I was about to purchase this over on Steam last night, but decided to wait for another time. Now it's free Yeah! :) There is an expansion available called Wrath of the Necromancer as well as some DLC skins, but those are not free.
