I didn't like this, you get on site and if you log out forget trying to get back on, just about impossible. Hard to find cancelation for account. beware. You do not get games until the 16th of the month, just about when your subscription ends and you have to pay. so you don't get games right away. while searching around and looking at trading games and comments, not all that great. so it is at your own risk. Not for me, maybe someone else. I'm not into those kinds of games though, from what I saw.

Proba Probanovic, because it's a subscription service. You get the first month for free, but unless you cancel your subscription before the month is up, they charge you.

Proba Probanovic, because they want you to roll over at the end of the trial month so they can charge your credit card with the continuous authority you gave them at sign up.

Impossible to trust a company with credit card information like this
If at least it could be possible to subscribe (for free or monthly) with paypal, it would be ok

I forgot to cancel a similar offer from one of those companies that offer cash back when you purchase goods from various outlets. The first month was £1 and thereafter £90 a month. I received a cold call about the savings club and decide it was worth trying the £1 for the first month; with the intention of cancelling at the end of that month if it wasn't suitable Unfortunately, the members pack they sent out went to a previous address, so I never received my membership number, which you needed to claim any discounts from the various outlets that were part of the scheme. I then promptly forgot all about it. £90 was removed from my account every month for over 2 years before I queried what it was (yeah I know..... my excuse being that I'm full of opiate meds so tend to forget things and rarely check my bank balance ). In the end I'd paid out over well £2000; thankfully the company running the scheme were a genuine concern and after providing proof of where I now live they returned all the money.

That said, it is so easy to forget to cancel such offers and you end up paying for the following month before you realise what's happened. Knowing what my memory is like I won't be joining this giveaway, even for 10 games

Cris, I suspect it'll be because in UK at least to do a charge back on a credit card the minimum transaction value has to be over £100, whilst with paypal there is no comparable minimum charge back transaction value.

I had the chance (Because I looked them up earlier), to try ubercrate out at special rate maybe $1.58 cad *.04 cc fee..(I thought it was 2.60). Got the crate, it was only ok- not perfect..still ok..Then later on as a member I bought afew times$.79cad *.02fee. I upgraded to the $3.24 bundle *.08 Canadian fee that was not perfect but ok...The 79cent games I thought were great- more than one good game for 79c....5 games . I was careful with my cccard, though...So I agree with Michael's heads up here...But my experience was good.

I just recalled that this is former Steam Crate I think it was called.
It was reformed due to bad publish.

The info from GOTD says you can cancel at any time.
Info at Ubercrate more looks like you have to mail them and apply for a cancellation.
I belive Steam Crate worked that way to, one had to beg to be cancelled while they tryed to talk you out of it.

So heads up here folks.

its not shady to ask for a cc. its a subscription service. cancel in the first month. at most theyll do a small hold (usually $1).
