In Brief:
The World's Legends: Kashchey the Immortal was originally given away HERE on December 4, 2016 where it received a positive 84% from 79 votes with 41 comments which you can see HERE

You can see a couple of video of game play HERE & HERE.

You can also see short reviews and useful information about the game via the Big Fish forums HERE
The Game:
When this was originally given away, I'd only played the game briefly, but found it reasonably decent with standard HOG fare. If you like HOG's this one will definitely be worth downloading. I've played better, but I've also played much worse. :) Sorry for the lack of a review. I don't think I'm going to have time to play any more nor spend time writing up a full review as we are talking at least three hours minimum game play time for my full reviews and I have a lot to do today; moderation will take up enough of my time.

In my opinion, with this type of HOG, once you've played a few you can usually predict what's available in game. It does have a reasonable tutorial with three modes of play to select from, i.e. Casual where active zones are highlighted plus skip and hint buttons recharge much faster than the other two modes. Advanced mode has no indication where active zones are situated and the skip and hint buttons take much longer to recharge than the casual mode. Hardcore mode has no active zones or skip and hint and no tutorial. Some items require at least two actions to complete for example in the first hidden object puzzle you have to find two parts of a dagger, the dagger plus the scabbard. When you find the dagger pick it up and place it in the scabbard. I found the game relatively easy going at least to the point I needed to stop.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found one hit (Zoner) from 54 antimalware engines. This is very highly likely to be a false positive with less than 2% of the antimalware engines detecting any malware. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to TooMky Games home page after the game has installed and places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed). The installation does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to TooMky Games home page when the game has been installed, it earns TooMky Games games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. You can see the results of the scan via the following link:

Other Free Games:
The latest free game from Epic is Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead (looks great) which combines the legendary and challenging puzzle gameplay of Bridge Constructor™ with the post-apocalyptic zombie universe of AMC’s The Walking Dead and Ironcast that was Inspired by Victorian-era science fiction writers such as H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, Ironcast is set in an exciting alternative history; a time when refined men and women in top hats and bonnets commanded gigantic walking war machines, laying waste to the enemies of the British Empire! Take control of a 7 meter tall walking vehicle called an Ironcast and face off against an invading force of enemy Ironcast in order to defend 1880's Victorian England. The game is one of my favourite versions of a match three game where creating matches gives you chances to beat your AI opponent. I already have this game on Steam and love it. It has mainly positive reviews. These will be available to add to your EPIC games library from Thursday the 15th July to Thursday22nd July at 4pm UK time/11am EST when a new set of games will be available to add to your account that are Sci Fi oriented i.e. Offworld Trading Company - Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson and Obduction - A sci-fi adventure from Cyan, the creators of Myst. Abducted far across the universe, you find yourself on a broken alien landscape with odd pieces of Earth. Explore, uncover, solve, and find a way to make it home.

Also from Epic, If you play online with friends there are several free online games for example there 's a decent PvE/PvP FPS game called Scavengers with a coop mode (I checked it out recently and it looks fantastic as well as plays well) and you can still get the clicker RPG Idle Champions. I've posted some details about Idle Champions over in the forums HERE, where you'll also find links to a Reddit page where you can pick up codes to redeem chests for free that give you various buffs and other items to add to your account that boost your heroes abilities and health as well as affect your group of heroes in game, for example potions that boost health or DPS, contracts that can improve armour or weapons already used by the heroes or other contracts that add specific amounts of gold to your bank as well as items of jewellery, armour or weapons that buff your characters stats. I've stopped playing the game simply because it was too addicting.

Please see Delenn's threads for Steam and Non Steam freebies HERE and HERE respectively. Delenn has been updating these regularly for years now. It’s worth adding these links to your favourites and checking regularly for available freebies. Most are only free for a specific time. If you miss the deadline you’ll miss out. Once added to your account, it’s yours to keep. Delenn has recently posted details of more Steam games that are temporarily free. One may be until it leaves early access??? - i.e. Tower Ball - Incremental Tower Défense plus a reflex game called Keyboard Killers are still free. Delenn posted details of a free origin came called Battlefield 4 which is available for free if you have an Amazon Prime account (If you like FPS games, it's a brilliant game to own. (not sure if it's still live).

You'll find hundreds of freeware games of all arcade and indie genres on Itch.io and Caimans Games as well as other sources. Please do check out the game discussion forums for older posts HERE (the sticky section is useful). Many of the earlier posts may be out of date with respect to the links I and others have provided to the free games; however, you only need to know the name of the game to find most of them via other sources. Many of those games from 2008 to around 2017 were posted as part of a project to supplement the lack of weekday games when the game giveaway went to weekend only games around Easter 2008 (mainly instigated due to the financial crisis of 2008) until November 2018 when Falcoware stepped into the weekday slot; however, from around 2015 onwards we did start to get the occasional Steam key for various games offered as limited giveaways, with a restriction on the number of keys available (anywhere from 25 to 2000+). These included over 60 decent AAA games and indie arcade games ; for example some of the better AAA games included , lucky Warhammer: Vermintide 1 & 2 plus DLC for version 2; Dreadlands, Mount & Blade: Warband, Immortal Unchained and Conan Exiles.

The Indie Gala developers freebies are available HERE (latest additions) and HERE (81 games in the Showcase, most full versions). Recent additions include 8Bit Boy, Lawless Lands Unrest, Block Dungeon, In Between Land Sonya: The Great Adventure, The Last Dream: Developer's Edition; plus, many more in the showcase section HERE and the Freebies section HERE.

It’s worth adding most of the links to your favourites and checking regularly for available freebies. Most are only free for a specific time. If you miss the deadline you’ll miss out. Several recent additions that were still available last week have since been removed e.g. Kick Ass Commandos, Whispering Willows, Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders, Inbetween Land and Deep Despair. Once added to your account, they are yours to keep and available to download DRM free anytime from your Indie Gala download page. :)

Just about every game these days seems to have an hidden object to find. Games were more creative in the 1980's

Nice game. Only downside is the dimness, which makes it hard to see hidden objects.

QUESTION, not directed to White Rabbit: Can't decrypt the key. Downloaded twice, and the same problem comes up. If anyone else was having this problem and was able to solve it, please respond! (Thanks in advance.)

The game downloaded and installed fine on Win10HomeX64. Whiterabbit-uk covered it well. I just wanted to add that, for me, the graphics are not crisp and seem rather dull. Additionally, all the wording such as the item list, inventory, etc. is just so small! Why that is is beyond me! I do have vision issues in one eye which contributes to that but I still think that a larger, clearer font would have been beneficial to all. I thought that was worth adding in case it helps someone else. Aside from that, the game play is fairly standard and the music stood out to me as being a nice, mellow background. After a couple of scenes the game has not pulled me in or excited me but I wouldn't say it's a throwaway so I will be fair and give it a bit more time to see if that changes.

Thanks to all involved for getting us this giveaway!
