I've only played Montezuma 2, but I agree that this is the best Match Three franchise that I've ever played. I'm excited to get Montezuma 3 today! It is definitely time-consuming to get through all of the levels, but you are not supposed to be able to beat a quality game in one sitting. :-) Different colors having different power-ups is a cool idea, and there is some strategy into selecting the best power-ups to match your play style.

I have to temporarily disable my AVG Antivirus in order for some GGOTD installations from MPC to work. (Once it is installed, it plays fine with my Antivirus running.)

sherry storey, Sometimes it will help if Windows i9s been cleaned by p.e. cCleaner. The folder with temp-files will be emptied and that will often help.

Another fast and furious, bright and colourful game! Not difficult to work out how to play, but a bit exhausting to play for long. I've got through three treasure chests now, so I think it's time I took a break - cup of tea needed to get my breath back.
Well worth the download, which was quick and easy. No problems with that. Many thanks as ever to GGAOTD, MPC and - of course - Whiterabbit. Best of luck to the daughter with those exams. It'll all be worth it when you sail through them.

Wow just finished all levels of Mont 2 in Adventure side. Couple levels of Arcade done but it is less friendly in that the pieces seem less forgiving so I deleted whole thing. Great now can try Adventure again in this version. Really like this series for way you can just do a level or two here & there without having to feel a need to devote a whole afternoon or worse to the game. They have all the basics down tight in this genre. Cursor seems smoother than in early version.
But played some early levels on Mont 3 Casual (Expert other option, not sure if can swap once in game). Easy at first couple levels. Now they've added some super extras this time round - flashy intro screen too. The extras will require careful use of in game earned stars as to what to buy. First couple levels there's 2 star levels, got to the 3 star set where each win has to surpass the prior high score so to get third star in that set can become darn hard. 20k 30k & that 45k. Timer is used and you have to replay a lot to catch some decent chains for serious points. Only got to 28k so far on the 45k so stopping for while to rethink. With such a short time in bonus rounds may have to settle for just 2 stars. Can skip bonus round.
All in all with the higher level of detail in the game it's a nice treat. Game play itself, remains to be seen. Replay the tutorial as it counts time against you in that first level. And read the pre-game short hints. Or dive in as Expert and prepare for....
Thanks GOTD. 9/10 I guess. 7.5/10 if hate getting bad draws, lol.
