Retro Wave Race is a game in the genre of arcade racing.

Join two teams of insects and other small creatures as they complete the last stage of The Smallest Hidathon in this hidden object game. In case you're wondering it's a marathon where everyone hides - a hid-a-thon.

Learn more about the hidathon and the contests in the accompanying story segments and choose who should win, Team Insect Rights or Team Save our Environment as you discover the small creatures hidden behind the fairies, elves and gnomes. The team with the least "found" members wins that round (i.e. the team that did the best job at hiding). The team that wins the most rounds wins the overall race.

Each level has 2 contestants and some spectators. Your task is to find a contestant without clicking the spectators.

Mix and match the settings as you prefer them:

Timed / No Timer

Click Limit / No Click Limit

Casual / Expert (Expert mode has less time, less clicks allowed and the creatures to find are smaller.)

I must be more than a bit crazy -- I really enjoy this kind of game! I find them to be infinitely relaxing, especially when I have the choice of timed or untimed, like this one has. I also especially like the clear control/instructions on this one. Many thanks to GAOTD and Evolutionary Games!

Interesting! It looks so simple . . . until you realise that you've forgotten the rules . . . Don't click the spectators!

It's fun and amusing - probably not a game an adult will want to play all day long, but quite fun for a short spell between the important stuff you're supposed to be doing.

And you can always say you only downloaded it for the littluns, after all. Enjoy!

Thank you for the game. It ran well on windows 10. I enjoyed the game, and was very happy to see that you can play it with no time limits and no click limits.
