A little sibling rivalry can be healthy - except when the fate of the world hangs in the balance! Can you resolve a family squabble before the gates to the realm of the dead swing open and horrors beyond imagination pour into this world?
Beatrice and Lily might look like any other pair of sisters, but they have a dark secret: Hidden from human eyes is a magic tower that contains a portal to the Other Side. One sister wants to open the gateway to gain knowledge and power, regardless of the consequences; the other sister wants to stop her. But which one is good and which one is evil? Step into the shoes of a detective who must decide!
As you make your way to the portal, you'll interact with Beatrice and Lily, both of whom warn you to not trust the other one. The suspense about who to believe will grow with each passing moment as you search for the items that can open new levels of the tower, solve simple puzzles, and play fun mini-games. You'll also enjoy stunning artwork, dramatic story scenes, and music and vocal performances you'll never forget.
Which sister wins in the end? The Other Side: Tower of Souls has been transformed into a newly remastered collector’s edition and optimized for the latest platforms so you can play now to find out!

No, on my computer, I've had no problems so far. The game is operating normally.

OK, this is strange, on my laptop, game works fine, but it's the desktop PC that has the problem. Both laptop and desktop PC are running the latest version of windows 10, could it be due to the fact desktop PC has an nVidia rtx 3060 card, whereas the laptop has the inbuilt intel graphics? Other thing is, I actually had installed the game previously when it had first been given away on here, same version, and I just re-installed it on desktop PC, could it simply be a conflict?

Installed and is running without a glitch on my Windows 7 computer. Great little game, best one I've encountered in quite a while. Thanks very much GOTD and Tiki's Lab.

I've installed it, started a new game, selected difficulty level, and...........nothing but a black screen and 'not responding' state. Anyone else able to run this game?

bryan, before install, go to TheOtherSideTowerOfSoulsRemasterCollectorsEdition-lk83ew folder, right click on Setup.gcd, choose Properties. and select the Unblock. After install, choose New Player, rename it ex. Joe and the game worked correctly. It seems the game doesn't work with the default Player 1 name.

bryan, Thanks for warning. I'll post back after I install the game. Installing on a Windows 7 computer. What OS you using?

There is one more problem. It seems that the game needs to be started in windowed mode, not full screen. To do this, press the Escape key, the menu will appear. Once it works, you can use the Escape key to return to the menu and restore full screen. If you exit the game and want to continue later, you will have to repeat the above procedure. Anyway, the game is worth this little extra work!

bryan, seems to run OK in a Win11 VM [Virtual Machine] so no graphics hardware requirements.

bryan, Works here. In the past, when games didn't work, it was a graphics card/processor incompatibility.
