You can read a Steam curators opinion of today's game HERE, bear in mind this is one of those £0.79/$0.99 games, that's discounted 51% to £0.39/$0.49 at the moment HERE. You can see a video and some images of the game via the latter link. :)
I totally agree with the review; including the placement of useless chests, that in other games of this type you'd find loot, and as the Steam curator said I found parts of the game, especially trying to walk up stairs 'janky' ( a way around this is to jump up the stairs). If you walk into some of the grey area's you'll find yourself falling off into nothingness surrounded by clouds (see last image below). We've had a few similar game giveaways from the same developer several months ago (September to November 2019) such as Curse of the Dungeon, Undefined and Adventure Galaxy, that had similar graphics, similar assets, useless chests and similar issues. Though I did sort of enjoy the escape the room game 70 Seconds! Adventure from the same developer.

Hm... passing on today's game due to review, but I genuinely want to know, what game software is he using that you have to 'jump up stairs'?

Watched a lets play on Youtube where a sidewalk looked barely higher than the ground, but the player had to jump UP onto it. Just why? What sort of sorcerer's coding is this?

Doesn't work properly. Endless loading you can stop only using ALT+CTRL+DEL.

Boris, Had the exact same issue, kept asking for permission to do something and would never take yes for an answer and kept asking. Had to kill with task manager myself.

anthony davis,

Hi Anthony, no it doesn't. Please bare with me while I try to explain below Unfortunately It's a bit waffly:
Due to the financial crisis 12 years ago, developers have had to adjust to a massive reduction in profits over the years as game prices dropped through the roof significantly, for example arcade prices dropped from $19.99 to between $4 to $6, leading to many game houses and some big name AAA developers going bankrupt. Over the intervening years, they have found various ways to increase their income; one of which is to give their games away, but they usually include non malicious adverts and browser redirections that will open your browser to their home sites. The games that are advertised while the game is booting up (in this case via the Falcoware installer) and when your browser is opened to the Falcoware site (or other sites that give free games such as MyPlayCity, FreeGamePick, Gametop, TooMky Games and others) the developer and the distributor earn money. The developer can make a lot more money using this method that sales income from selling their games; especially ones that have passed their honeymoon period following their release. Some of these games can also be found in massively reduced indie game bundles where you get upwards of 95% off the original price of the game, for example when THQ (the developers of the Red Faction Guerilla, Warhammer and Company of Heroes franchise's were going through financial difficulties, they released over £400 worth of their current games into a Humble bundle selling for £5. They actually made several million profit doing this because hundreds of thousands of bundles were sold to consumers who would not have normally purchased those games. Sadly, that didn't save that particular game house as soon after they went into liquidation and their game franchises were sold off to other game houses to settle their debts.
Unfortunately some anti malware programs will tag the code that is used to carry out these advert processes as malware, but what you are getting via these games is not malicious and does not get added to your system files. They are self contained within the game. The giveaway team have, ever since they started the site back in 2006 rigorously checked all games that have been downloaded from their servers to make sure they are safe to use. They have NEVER in over 13 years since the game site opened (Dec 2006) given away a game that has included malicious code that would go on to affect your computer.
I've installed virtually every Falcoware game given away since they were added to the giveaway portfolio back in November 2018 and there has been no malicious software installed to my computer. I run regular scans and they are always clear.

p.p.s. With respect to the shortcuts and non essential files that are installed into the program folder, they are not malicious and can be deleted if you are bothered. When you choose no to install desktop shortcuts, that is only for the actual game executable shortcut. I do think it should be mentioned that you will got those other shortcuts installed to the desktop; however, they are just that, shortcuts and can be deleted with no effect on either the game or your computer.

anthony davis, it's probably a false positive of your av software, I never had a virus from here and I download programs since years. shut off your av for the moment of the connection and turn it on again immediately afterwards and everything is fine.

anthony davis, actually not virus. Setup makes several shortcuts on desktop and system estimates this as a threat.
