The Legend Of The Fallen Castle 2 is a retro action platformer. At the end of each fourth level there is a boss level to beat. (denoted by the yellow skull on the level selection screen). Movement is accomplished using the A and D keys to move left or right (you can also use the left and right arrow keys, which for a left hander like myself is a must). To jump press the space bar, to jump higher keep the space bar pressed and even higher double click the space bar. To attack using your sword, click n the sword symbol, to throw a knife (once you've picked one up), click on the knife symbol. Personally I found the combination of keyboard and mouse on a platformer a little confusing and kept trying to use the sword just by clicking the mouse; forgetting to use the icon in the bottom left of the arena.

Despite my issues with the controls, this is a nice little platform game, well worth downloading. Collect gold and kill monsters. Once you've collected enough gold you can buy upgrades from the store; you'll require 100 gold to buy an upgrade. To enter through a door, you need to find keys. Good luck.

Notes on Security

I checked the installed game with Virus Total and it was totally clean. You can see the results HERE. The initial download did show one hit from Dr Web called Adware.Downware.932, which accounts for the browser redirection back to Falcoware. This is not a malicious issue, it is only confined to the installation of the game. Falcoware pay the developers of the games they give away for allowing the games to be given away. They earn money when your browser is redirected to Falcowares home page. The actual game as shown in the first link is totally clean. Nothing is injected into your systems software. The four desktop shortcuts are also non malicious and can be deleted with no effect on the game.
