I had a few moments spare so thought I'd check today's game out and was pleasantly surprised at the look of the game, a first person zombie shooter using the Unity engine. With that you can expect to see shared assets from other games, but that shouldn't matter if the game is well constructed.

With only a limited amount of time to play and write a comments, I'll probably be missing lots. My initial impressions are as follows

1) ... Looks decent
2) ... Controls are a little annoying with respect to mouse movement. i.e. i had to set my mouse to the fastest resolution to be able to turn around even then it felt sluggish.
3) ... If like me you have a multi display set up, you'll find your mouse wandering across to the other screens frequently. This caused the game to close to the task bar. I had to set my display to duplicate to stop the mouse from wandering and closing the game down.
4) ... It would be much better if there was a little variety in the zombie hordes. It gets a little boring after short time shooting the same looking zombie over and over.
5) ... Using the mouse wheel you can scroll through your handgun, rifle and grenades. The rifle uses the right mouse to use the scope.

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to get into the game so cannot say much else. it looks worth checking out. If you like zombie shooters it may be your cup of tea, however if you are expecting quality and game play like the now almost 10 year old Left 4 Dead 2 or the eight year old Dead Island you'll be sadly disappointed. Still, it works. :)

Final word:

I'd enjoy this game more if the controls were better. I found them too sluggish and un-intuitive. Also it would be nice to see more weapons to pick up (this may be available later in the game as I only progressed a short distance due in part to taking screen captures and having the game close to the task manager frequently). I'd also like to see a decent option menu, where the controls are listed and the ability to change the key mapping was available.
