When you open the Zip file, click on the "read me" link. It will give you your registration number. Merely copy it and open the application link to install World Voyage. Once you have it installed, START the game. When it starts, you will see where to "paste" your registration number. You will also notice a "60 minute time allowance", BUT, once you have "REGISTERED" the game, the time restriction is GONE. I hope this helps you.

I downloaded this and gave it a try. Running XP, SP3. The Screen resolutions, window mode and advanced lighting options are grayed out. Not a wildly exciting game but sometimes I just want something soothing while I ponder other things.

I had posted yesterday (do not see the post) as well as contacted starsashes in reference to there being no uninstaller. Starsashes contacted me with this line: "This is installer giveawayoftheday. You need to seek help for them." I did not find them to be much of a help. I will do manual uninstall.

I like match-three games, and I like this one: good graphics, good background music, good story and quest, so far. It downloaded and installed quick and clean on Win XP, sp2.

But -- I'm having the same cursor complaint as Vicky, #14: the cursor lags my movement, as if it's on the end of a flexible wand. I'll try lowering the screen resolution, and I'll try iobit's game booster (I like and trust iobit); but if I can't improve the cursor movement, I may abandon this game. Great little match three game with a twist! 2.Thanks Stars Ashes & GGATD. No problems installing on my Win7 Home. This one is a keeper for me!

With 3 hours to go there has been 12330 downloads of this game.

Unfortunately I can't give you a key, I'm only the moderator and don't have the power to do that. You could try swapping files around between the two (Demo and game giveaway versions) and see if you get it to work. I'd make a back up of the giveaway version first. Not sure whether the terms and conditions would allow that, but it's worth a try.

Have you tried updating your audio drivers recently. Several community members have been getting similar problems. From the look of the error messages you got it looks like your driver is out of date. The latest ones may cure the problem. to find out which soun d chip you have type dxdiag in the search field via the start menu. That will open up the direct x diagnostics panel. There are two or three audio tabs. one of those will tell you which driver you need. (I think) :) Hope this helps.

I find it near impossible to repeatedly select the tiles to swap. I hover the cursor over a tile, and it changes its hi-lighting - but it doesn't seem to matter if I right click or left click - nothing seems to select the tile. Sometimes - it will 'select' - and start to shift around - but I cannot see any pattern between when it works and when it doesn't.

A long shot suggestion, try adjusting your screen res. Maybe the resolution you have it set on is not allowing the collisio mesh to correspond to your mouse clicks???? Other than that I really cannot think what the problem is. Try downloading the demo to see if that does the same. Or delete the game, download the game from the mirroe and reinstall. Another long shot try and update your graphics drivers.

Installed with no problems what so ever. This looks to be a simple Match 3 game but as you get further along it becomes harder and harder. Those mummies/demons can play havoc with your game play/plans with their stealing and freezing.. You get more points for the different symbols also. So you need to watch for that. The music is okay. I am having trouble telling the red and orange apart when they are frozen..but it's probably my eyesight. But it's a keeper.

Hopefully the developer will see these comments and maybe improve on the spelling. Personally I have no problem with the mispellings. I often think some English speaking people spell even worse, (scuze the grammar, it's 3am here and I really should be in bed).

Today's game is a fresh one from Star Ashes, the developer of INCINERATE and Sawoid. It's great to see them moving away from the top-down shooter type of games (I was never amused by it) and do something interesting. Works fine on my computer. Started and there was a whole whack of reading. Skipped it all. This is a typical match three. The biggest difference is with those skull-things, which actually seems to make the first level difficult (especially so with the timer and the money counter going). And that's where I played up to. 3D is welcomed, but didn't really add much (plus it seemed a little flat). I'll try this more when I get time.

Modding potential: 5. You can mess with the mesh files, though I'm not going to bother to figure them out. I wonder if they actually use the .x meshes.

Some things never change: They still spell "sistem" and "HUT". Has anyone pointed it out to them?

I have played many different versions of this game but have NEVER hit one that made it so difficult to pick up a piece to move it. I have to click on it repeatedly and I'm still not sure why one click works and the rest before it did not. Some of the blocks I can't get to every move. Very frustrating!!!

There is a "bonus" game but you have to complete the "quest" first. From what I saw, you get as much gold as you can within 6 minutes to get the highest score. I just saw the basic rules. I'm working on the "Temple of the Gods" right now so I've got a ways to go.

Installed no problem at all. personally I find This type of game Frustrating. lol But my wife enjoys games like this. This runs very smooth on my test computer. HP D530/ Windows XP pro/ sp3/ ya its old but if a program or game can run good on that then I will install it on my new system, and when i do every thing still works good.

#12 back again. This time I was able to install and activate the game without problem, so it must have been server overload earlier.

During the first sequence of the game (obelisk) the game crashed, but I think the problem was that it wasn't playing nice with Mamutu (security software). Mamutu wasn't kicking out alerts on it, but it was running a heavier load in Task Manager, so something was going on there. I disabled it and was able to complete the obelisk and great gates sections without any further problems.

It's a nice simple match-3 game, a good time waster. The music isn't annoying, the graphics are okay (not great). I was surprised that the same colored discs where being used by time the third section started up; usually the things you have to match change a bit as the game progresses, though maybe that does happen in the later sections. I liked the mummies - lol.

I think you'd have to edit the executable, which I have no experience of doing. There are a couple of community members that do do that sort of work. Maybe if you post a comment in the forums they will help. Once the giveaway is over these comments tend to be ignored by most members as they are not as easy to access. The forums get daily input, so you're more likely to get help. :) I'd go check one of the 50 or so match three's you can get for free from myPlaycity, bearing in mind the cautions that i usually post for such sites. myPlaycity is one of the better ones where you can get games with little in the way of toolbars etc. there are some very good match three games available that don't have that flashing behaviour. See the end of my short review at comment # 1 above for a link to MyPlayCity.

Chuck: I drug my .exe file directly onto my desktop and was having the same problem. I put it back in C:\Games and made a shortcut for my desktop and it works now. Hope this helps.

I cannot understand why there are some people out there that Expect everything to work the first time you try it. As an Administrator and programmer myself, I know this just isn't true. IT IS NORMAL!!!

There are also people out there who get seriously offending. (I am an American).

Please If you do feel the need to get offending then leave and get your FREE software and games elseware.

I think the guys from GGAOTD do a good job of supporting when they are allowed to.
But sensless quotes like:

Tried installing on both Windows XP and 7. Installs fine but when launched on either machine the "...has encountered a problem..." box form Windows pops up and the whole thing crashes. Anyone know a solution (anyone from the publisher do QA on this release?).

Developers rarely bother to make an appearance, which is a shame. I'm just hoping a more active community will get them contributing more. As for your problem, are you able to see what the problem is? I've got the game working on both platforms, so can't understand why it's not working. You could try updating the graphics drivers on both platforms.

I like this game - it's simple, sure, but the skulls' curse (freeze) and theft (match points not credited) make this much more strategic than some other swap-3 games.

Whether I personally like a game or not, thank you so much for your efforts at GGAOTD. Also, shout out to STARS ASHES for participating.

Tried downloading the game several times and gave me an error every time that it was a bad file. It took too long to download and it seems like it didn't download properly. Never had a problem downloading a game over the years.

Installed and played fine on my XP sp3 system. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the game. Sliding the blocks is not smooth and the game is very 'plain'. I've been playing Fishdom - Frosty Splash lately and this game isn't close the that one. I enjoy match 3 games but this one came up short. :(

You still have not explained what the problem was despite posting a second time. 9 times out of 10 problems associated with these game giveaways are usually the fault of the user. Installs ok Win 7 Ultimate 32x. Do get those Win 7 popup windows about how program failed to install. Ignore. Even tho no relax mode I've play a few levels with no issue about time running out. Have mixed feelings about match games, so many. This one uses large shapes which so far is a nice touch. Easier to read than many other games with closely related balls. The temp freeze element adds to the fun.
Now this is just a look from early on so no idea how deep it gets.
Good enough for now. 7.5/10 just for barebonesness. 8/10 of its kind.
Note about yesterdays Super Clicks. Luckily I used ZSoft Uninstaller to remove it. That show 7 registry entries left behind after its first pass. When ZSoft uninstalls there's often the named title left below the line. Click title & remove box (second time). Then it scans again and shows any remaining data. There were the 7 reg links. Don't know if the game's uninstaller leaves those behind but at least this way I know they are gone. Today's game is just in its own folder.

Same installation issues as #12, 13, & 15. Chose to "save as"(to my desktop) rather than "open" the downloaded folder. After extracting the files the first time, and launching the game, I received a bunch of sound file errors so....deleted the folders and extracted the files a second time... Game runs now. As for the game itself....meh... All I can say is its OK, and and lost interest in it about 7 minutes into the game around level 5 (thats about when it started to become a bit more challenging however) I have about five different match three games installed and I have to say this one just doesnt cut it with no power ups or anything "extra" to make the game more intriguing.....maybee the developer could work on throwing some extras in it....nothing holding your interest here IMHO

Thank you for this one - I just downloaded and tested it - seems to work fine under Win7.

While this game does not have a "relaxed" mode, it does have 3 levels of difficulty which often works almost as well.

A game does NOT have to propose a new experience or push the limits to be fun. Some games are fun either for the graphics or they just happen to be the kind of game you like.

I found this a rather nice match 3 game. I like match 3 games and they all work about the same. Story lines, aside, they all have the same basic motive of matching up 3 (or more) of the same symbol enough times to complete the level and go on to the next. Everything else is details. That does not make any such game "bad" because it does not "push the envelope".

For me, this is a very good weekend. We not only got 2 games, we got 2 new games, 2 games I didn't already have and 2 games that I liked. What could be better?

Thanks for this GAOTD. I like games from this company for their crisp graphics. This one is OK, not great and not bad. It recycles some graphics from their breakout Egypt game. I do think that having a real install program would make it easier for people with low computer skills.

I agree with #9 only because I am handicapped. Thank you for a new match-three game. I know my opinion is so much different than you expert gamers. :-)

It's a swap-3 type of match 3 (one where you swap a tile to create a match, as opposed to the slide-3 or click-3). It involves mostly matching colored tiles but you also need to try and match mummies before they can explode and release their "curses" which do things like blocking tiles.

For a match 3 the graphics and gameplay are fairly primitive. It almost looks like something done as a school project. Decent enough for free but not worth $10. There's just too many other good match 3 games out there, especially in the $10 range.

I'm not sure if it's my computer or what, but, after installing it I got a lot of errors about the sound files being bad, then I got two white screens flash in and out then it shutdown on it's own with an error that said it stopped working and windows is checking for a solution, is there one?

It turns off all unecessary programs while you are playing the game thus freeing up more memory which should help to run the game.
