The game is too large (installed 1.45GB) to complete an online scan. My personal security found four issues (see last image); so I decided to purchase the Steam version, which had exactly the same four issues, so I reckon they are false positives because I'm sure Steam would have not allowed the game in the store if it contained malware. I did post details of the threats in the Steam discussion section for the game together with a link to the image.

Tank Commander: Battlefield:

Tank Commander: Battlefield is an expanded version of Tanks Generals that was given away back in April HERE; the game play mechanic is exactly the same. Tanks Generals only included two of the six scenarios we get in todays game (i.e. Kursk and Stalingrad), which would imply that todays game is the full version, rather than a cut down demo version. You can find todays giveaway on Steam HERE for only £2.09. There are only a few community reviews since its release on the 4th July 22 (all positive) HERE. Todays game is also similar to Tank Commander that was given away back in January this year HERE.

Briefly, If you like tank games, this is like an arcade style tank game and reasonably playable; however, it's not got the best tank models. Some of the games I still play from the early 2000's e.g. Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, ArmA 2 have far better tank models, with a more realistic damage engine, but for free today, it's definitely worth getting. For me it's more a coffee break game than a fully fledged game that I'd play for hours. You can find a decent looking arcade tank game called Battle Tank Armada on Steam for only £3.99 (when not on sale) HERE; though it has mainly negative reviews. A free and better tank game is Battle Tanks: Legends of WWII HERE.
