Sustainable Balance was available as a giveaway on June 10, 2017!
Exclusive offer from Giveaway of the Day and MyPlayCity! No third-party advertising and browser add-ons!
Check your skills and become a master of equilibrium in the game Sustainable Balance! Try your hand at saving a ball on the game board. Seems easy, but wait a little, it’s just an illusion. There are lots of wooden bars with various obstacles around: iron blocks, other things that look unnecessary at first sight, but soon you’ll realize that they are helpful to cope with a level. They are not obstacles, just on the contrary, they are the things that will be a support in getting to the end of the level. Try to move the blocks and bars in such a way to overcome all kinds of obstacles waiting for you in the numerous levels. Balance. One wrong move, and the ball will fall into the abyss, and you’re to replay the level from the very beginning.

You can try this online at http://www.y8.com/games/sustainable_balance if you want to try before downloading. My first game of this type was Marble Madness. You've really have to like a challenge to play these type of games.

I enjoyed the first level and got halfway through the second level. The physics are decent and the puzzles require consideration. I will be going back to it, but didn't have the necessary patience/concentration right then.
The real reason I'm commenting is Exit is either F2 or F3. I discovered this when ESC didn't work so started running through the function keys. And as someone mentioned, this is an arrow key or WADS game, and a mouse would probably make the micro changes too difficult.

I like the game... it's teaching me patience in more ways than one. Downloaded and installed fine on my Windows 10 x64 desktop and also on my same configuration laptop. It took me a few tries to figure out that a) you have to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the ball and b) the ball is hidden initially and you have to use the arrow keys to get it moving so you can find it! I initially made many trips through space! Discovered, as whiterabbit-uk said, that the only way to get out of the game is do the 3-finger salute (Ctrl-Alt-Del). I'd put the game aside for a few hours only to find, when trying to open it again, that it wouldn't open. Acted like it was connecting to MPC and then the opening window and icon just disappeared. I tried 3 different times and finally reinstalled it. Then it ran fine. Makes me wonder if I truly have the patience to keep reinstalling it if that's the only way to run it after lapsed time or if I'd even be ABLE to reinstall to get it working again once the free day is over.
I do like the game.... I find it a challenge. Play and response time seems to be very smooth. The graphics are pleasing. However, the frustration of having to do the 3-finger salute and the uncertainty of whether it will load again have me seriously considering uninstalling it, saying it would have been nice.............

I had to disable AVAST to install. When I tried to open game, got a engine.exe error.

This looks like a game in development that is not yet ready for release. It needs an instruction page for how to play. It needs an option screen for sound volume levels, and key sensitivity. It needs to go to a menu screen when you press ESC. The camera does not follow the ball well - parts of the maze obscure the ball so that you cannot determine exactly where the ball is. It could do with an optional map in the upper right corner giving you an overview of the maze.
I found it too annoying to bother with further. Perhaps when it is more than a Beta release I might try it again.

No instructions, no options screen, no way to exit....yep, White Rabbit already noticed this in his review. I really don't care for games where I have to have good coordination....but goodness! I was willing to give it a try. And besides those obvious drawbacks, I would also suggest the graphics be improved in order to see "depth" more easily so that the player can easily tell the difference between going down a different path versus rolling off the edge.

Does not respond to any key or mouse, only sound, no action.
It means there is no camera, no game?
output_log.txt: Warning: no main camera found. Ball needs a Camera tagged "MainCamera", for camera-relative controls.

Hey Wabbit,
I like the marble/rolling balance games so I will be checking this game out for sure. But they need a catchier name for it.. The name is terrible.

Have a couple of similar games for Android, so I was eager to give it a try. It installed without a problem on Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 - and it's the only positive.
Once the game starts, it shows 2 buttons: Game and Exit. There are no options or settings to adjust anything. Clicking "Game" starts the game - sort of. An empty board appears without a ball, annoying techno-like music starts playing loud and there is nothing I can do. The only keys it reacts to are Caps Lock (which does nothing) and the combo of Ctrl+Alt+Del, which, yes, brings up the screen where I can start the Task Manager and kill the unresponsive game. Sorry, it may be the first time in my decade or so on this site that I give a thumbs down, but a game that doesn't work forces me to do it.
