This is not the first person Super Driver that some of you may be aware of, but a top down version with the same name. We had a similar game yesterday in that it's a runner type game, but instead of a side scrolling runner you have a top down car that is traveling forwards with various obstacles to avoid. You also collect tokens/money and petrol/gas on the way to ensure your car doesn't stop; there's a countdown clock in the bottom left corner. Every time you pick up a petrol/gas can the timer, which shows a negative number reducing to zero, increases a little (negatively). Avoid the oncoming traffic and various obstacles such as large rocks and in later levels animals. One power-up called the springboard launches you into the air thus avoiding any oncoming traffic, though this can be a bane as well as at least a third of the time I used a springboard I can down in front on oncoming traffic and crashed & burned. If you hit anything apart from the power-ups you start from the beginning.

To the left of the road is a track indicator that shows the progress of your vehicle to the end of the level. The final image below shows that I attained a distance of 2292.5 meters before I crashed, this is related to the fourth image, which sows how little of the level I'd managed to complete. This is not an easy ride, especially if like me your response times are a little slower than they used to be. :)

I think the score board is broken as it doesn't seems to keep a record of your score, the amount of fuel you've collected or the number of accident or springboards you've had or used. The only thing it does record is the distance you've traveled. Also, the leader board doesn't work. You can see a video of game play via the Steam store page (it’s not been released yet) HERE.

I actually enjoyed playing this for short periods and will definitely be returning to it, so would recommend you try it for yourself; its definitely much better than yesterdays runner game.
