Well received by many reviewers on Steam, but 3 curators, all that reviewed it, didn't like it. Basically supposed to be a simple game, maybe a port from a phone game. 1.5 to 2 hours of game play is the consensus. Someone mentioned language translation is not smooth. I can't get fired up about it. Think I'll skip. Thanks though, GGOTD and Toomky. Happy gaming folks.

I hidden object adventure game, with a bit more 'figure it out' steps than many of the games. The plot line seems to be better detailed than others as well. I like the music and sound effects - the mini-games are a nice challenge as well.

Stranded In Time is a point and click adventure game. It was released February 16, 2015, yes I had to look - 3g was on the phone ;) and has never been given away before on GOTD. The game provides about 1.5 hours of content.
5 different players can save their progression, but the only options are full screen or not, music or muted, sound or muted. If you want to adjust the volume, you will therefore have to use your computer/speaker controls or alt-tab and adjust the system sound. No voice overs are in the game.
There are puzzles, some simple and expected, others harder and more original. No typical hidden objects per se although you have to move around papers to find pieces of a map underneath which are 'hidden objects'... but you do still search for items you may need and these are in reasonable places like tools are not going to be in the fridge as other HOGS lol. I wish the inventory and journal was available without clicking the backpack, but I can live with that. The story and items to find being in the journal and not marking off when you find them like some HOGS are both a bit less super easy than usual but might be a bit annoying to those whos memories are not what they once were some time ago. You'll need to refer to the included journal then a few times to know which items you're supposed to retrieve for someone or use to complete a task.
As with most adventure games, there is less hand-holding. Take your time to look around, see what you can add to your inventory. The mouse changes to a pointer and magnifier when you can interact and click on, sometimes more than one time- just know not all items you interact with are important. These little touches however and the dialogue which is plentiful is both a plus to some and of course may cause some people who dont enjoy reading and using their brain too much to not enjoy it as much. Some tasks for them may be hard to figure out, such as the storage area for finding some items being behind what looks like a safe with a combo lock rather than a room. Traditional puzzles found in the game can be skipped and the hint button is available, recharges after you use it and works throughout the game so overall most should not at least get lost with crazy things that noone thinks to do in some games.
Overall my opinion here is this is a good one for adventure game fans but may not appeal as much to those who arent fans of the genre. This is not Lucasarts classic level and as an indie title you may encounter a few grammatical mistakes that can be overlooked, but certainly could return some entertainment value for a few hours to kill as I found and worth the playthrough unless you have a huge backlog of AAA titles to get to first.

A puzzle game more than a hidden object. Some puzzles were simple, others more difficult.

It's a pity that it has been taking so long for comments to appear here. That is why I have been adding the time to mine, to not look daft, as I found I may post something or answer a question and when the comments finally all appear, other people have said the same thing before me. I wonder if it may even be impacting people from getting the games since, if they're having an issue with downloading/installing/launching a game and ask for help, they may not see an answer until after the giveaway period has ended. I know this site is a labor of love and I am unsure of the number of people who work here (and I am grateful and appreciate each one of you!) but if anyone on the team was able to check and approve comments maybe even just every 2 hours or so it would be really helpful. Just a thought.
Anyway, since it's not stated above, it looked like a TM game to me at first, here is additional info from Steam:
"Stranded In Time takes you back to the good old days of graphic point-and-click adventure games, where the game’s story takes the driver’s seat. Delivered in a vibrant atmosphere of a graphic novel, this game offers you a relaxed experience and a fascinating sci-fi story that you can pick through at a pace you personally choose. Solve puzzles, explore locations, hunt for various items and see how Olivia gets to the bottom of an unexpected mystery. It’s simple, fun and very entertaining!
Play as Olivia - a young woman from a big city - who joins her uncle Peter and writer Nick exploring an old abandoned church in the woods that hides a secret beyond any wild dream! And only you can find the key to an enigma that is older than history itself!
Classic adventure game
Exciting sci-fi story
Fun gameplay for all ages
Tricky puzzles and interactions
Cute graphics"
From comments:
"A short point-and-click adventure game with a few puzzles. This is not a hidden object game, though it does have some similarities to them."
"Stranded in Time is a typical tablet game: a 90-minute trip that won’t tire you out with any sort of difficult puzzles, but fun enough to pass the time with."
I haven't had a chance to play yet today so can't give an opinion of the game itself but hope to have a chance later. Thank you to all who worked to get this game to us!

The game could use a map so as to move more easily from place to place. If there is one, I haven't found it yet. Win 10, no issues downloading or installing.
