I'm in 'Grumpy' mode today !! The 'Help' file is a joke. I was looking for help on how to 'SAVE' a game, so I can go to bed. I thought I'd check to see if there was an 'Auto' save when you exit the game - then I discovered that I can't exit the game. I'm sure the game installed correctly, as I had no problems starting the game. Am I missing something
obvious ? I guess so, because I'm sure somebody would have commented by now. Could playing at full screen mean that my 34" screen doesn't display the whole 'picture' so that I'm not seeing some of the buttons ? On second thoughts I don't think it's that either because I noticed the game wasn't actually playing at full screen - just like all your screen grabs, there was a band on either side. I'm sure I clicked on all the menu buttons, but maybe I missed one ? Please let me in on the secret - first tell me where the 'Exit' button is, and then tell me if there is either a 'Save' button, or does the game automatically save the game ?

I have this and the entire series of solitaire games in this genre where you have a quest or some mystery you solve. I love the graphics, the ease of game play and while it's not for everyone, the game is not terribly challenging. That said, it's enjoyable enough to keep your interest as you play. I am currently playing the Professional set on my Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit system. I didn't download it from GGOTD, I chose to download it on MyPlayCity so I do have to contend with the opening browser to their site but other than this, it's a game worth downloading and playing.

I have a question about the GOG Soma giveaway. Do I have to create an account to download it? I go to the site that your forum post leads to and the only option seems to be to 'claim' the game, but that button doesn't do anything. It looks like an interesting game, so any help you can give on how to download it would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is a good solitaire version with nice clear and larger sized cards so they are easy on the eyes.
Some of the various levels require you to have saved up quite a few points to be able to use the jokers as there are only 17 or so cards in the draw pile to collect deeply buried key cards. I just go back to an easy level to gather more points as needed. The expert/professional levels is where this is a challenge if you get stuck on one of the deals as you will have to play that entire level over if you are going for a perfect score.

This is a good solitaire game. You can turn the sound and music off if you want to. I have just finished playing the first level and found it quite enjoyable to play. Thank you MPC for offering the game today.

The graphics don't seem as good as previous games in this series. The worst of all, in my opinion, is the music. It seems to be on a short continuous loop. It's very irritating. I kept having to lowering it. Finally, I just turned the music off. I also turned down the sound effects. I never turn down the sound or lower it in games. But in this one I had to.

Robert, You can simply turn off the game in your volume mixer settings located in your system try near your clock. Right click on the speaker icon and select open volume mixer; find the game's speaker and click it off. I do this after the game first opens by clicking on the windows key which collapses the current window. I then right click on the speaker icon and turn off the volume for the game; often because the music is so loud through my headphones or speakers and I prefer to play silently while listening to Youtube programs or my own music.
