I'm away checking out another university open day with my daughter, so don't have time to post a full review. I will moderate when I return home late afternoon/early evening.

Today's game is similar to the last solitaire game we were given the other week i.e. Mystery Solitaire: Grimm's Tales

A Halloween themed solitaire card game.

Installation:

Solitaire Game: Halloween downloads to an 82.3 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set-up file and a readme). Those with multiple hard drives can save games on any drive they wish. The newly installed game is 88.5 MB in size. The game installs to the following path by default, but can be changed by the user if you prefer:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\Solitaire Game - Halloween

Four shortcuts are installed to the desktop. three of which can be safely deleted (Play Online Games, MyPlayCity Games and shortcuts to a free online game which vary each week). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch taskbar, make sure you uncheck the box when the additional tasks window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window)

Solitaire Game: Halloween is a ''frightfully'' decent solitaire game! As with most Solitaire card games, you create chains of cards. To help you achieve longer chains bonuses are available. There are achievements to earn and you are able to select from multiple game modes to tailor the game’s difficulty to your mood or experience.

I got this one from Toomky a while ago. It's another in the solitaire series by 8floor, and if you like them, you'll probably like this one, too. Also available at Toomky is Solitaire Game: Halloween 2.

Hi everyone! I haven't been here in ages... White Rabbit, I can't believe you're still here after all these years. GGOTD are blessed to have you!!! I hope they realize that. :)

Anyway, I installed today's game with no problems. Just be vigilant when you install, as WR already mentioned, if you don't want extra shortcuts... Some installations can be sneaky!

I played for a few hours without a hitch. This solitaire game is different than your usual game and less monotonous.

I dislike the fact that MPC still add their homepage to the desktop, shortcuts, etc. I know they can all be deleted, I'm just saying. Another thing is that when I stopped playing, my browser opened to My Play City! It shouldn't do that when it's a freebie from GGOTD. Right? :(
