Snowy: The Bear's Adventures is all about awesome action and the coolest cartoon-style animation you've ever seen.

The game stars an adorable polar bear who's trying to reach his home in the Frozen North. Standing in his way are hundreds of crazed monsters! To help Snowy to safety, you must run, jump and kick your way through 88 levels filled with goodies to grab.

Our hero's only defense is the snowballs he tosses that freeze his enemies in their tracks. This allows him to give them the boot! You'll enjoy trying to take out more than one monster at a time and using the bonuses that pop up when an enemy bites the dust. One allows Snowy to toss snowballs faster. Another plops him inside a miniature helicopter and lets him take out monsters without getting hurt.

Another GREAT game! My kids and I check for the new game first thing every morning before it's time to leave for school. Kids are sick today, so the game will probably get lots of play time!

When the kids had their ration of computer time, my daughter was enthralled by this game. I was even playing it, although normally I personally don't like platform games. Great fun and a nice selection of ability choices. My daughter played on normal and I played on childs, lol. Love the graphics and the changing themes for each level. Very nice game. Thank you Alawar and GotD team. I believe there are quite a few snowy adventure games :)

Marvellous game as to capability and speed of reaction (esp. the Boss-Levels on hard). But sensitive people or such being physically or mentally weak, be careful, folks! Danger of addiction. And as far as kids are concerned I really must say that I wonder when the first little one will attend the doctor because of simply playing this game too much or, perhaps most likely, on a level other than the childrens' level.
Anyways, a very remarkable giveaway which lets us hope for what's coming in the next 5 years ... or so. What about renaming this fearless, kinda "megalomanic" bear in a future release in "Bushy" ?!

I wish GOTD would address the recent problems with the last two Alawar downloads. It's apparent there is a glitch somewhere. I see that other folks are having the same problem I've had. I would really like today's game. Can't be a good giveaway site, if you can't give the game away.

I am trying to install snowy and i'm having trouble. I downloaded the file, unzipped it and ran the activation.exe. However, i get an error message stating "failed to connect to giveawayoftheday.com. I have internet connection, i tried to download gotdlauncher.com and keep getting problems. I have downloaded other games in the past month with no problems but the last two games (snowy & space crusaders) I can only get the 60 min trail version. PLEASE HELP. I love this site and all the games.

I LOVE this game! It reminds me a little bit of sonic the hedgehog the way you can ride the snowball. The levels were easy, passed 'em all on my first try, but the BOSS is HARD. I'll have to try again and see if I can beat him. I was only on normal level, so I would think the more advanced boss would be even harder.

I like there's an easy level, great for kids.

The graphics are excellent and the gameplay easy to pick up.

If it had a lot of levels I might even pay for this one! :P

I love this site and appreciate the free games. I am having trouble with the game yesterday and today. I download it, extract it, and activate it, but it doesn't seem to install. Anyone come up against this? I have downloaded and installed about 10 games successfully so far, so I can't figure out what I am doing differently. Advise would be appreciated.

Get this one if you have young kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews, they'll love it! Cute animated cartoon graphics and three difficulty modes including one specifically labeled "kids". The Snowy character gets to turn monsters into big snowballs and then kick them off the platforms, 88 levels should keep the kids busy for a while. The barfing frog monster is a little gross but most kids will think it's funny.

A few people have mentioned drive space concerns in the past. They might want to know that once installed this game is huge for what it is, at 99.9 MB. It's fully one third larger than Foxy Jumper 2, a very similar game just offered a few days ago. Shouldn't matter unless you want to put it on your kid's computer, most people put smaller drives on a kid's machine.
