I found a video that could help with the decision to download or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2daDobPEQco

Magic Ball 2 clone from the RealOne Arcade, days. Great little arkanoid brick buster style game to kill the time. Made many of these games working again on my Win 10 system. Another to add to my collection. Seeing shades of 2005 with this giveaway. Classic and keep these small RealOne Arcade games coming GOTD!

Smash Frenzy 2 is another nice Arkanoid-Clone. In the core it is based on the idea of one of the first computer games ever: Pong (1972, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pong ) extended to Breakout (1976, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakout_(video_game) ) Though the idea is nothing new, the concept still makes much fun. Compared to all that other scrappy games that come with a 10-times larger installation size this is a real gem with accepatable graphics and a compact size. If you like this kind of gameplay search for "Arkanoid Clone", "Arkanoid Remake", "Brickout", "Breakout" -and have much fun.

First things first: this game contains realistic, "jolly" depictions of real animals like cows, penguins, butterflies … all of which you have to mow down and then watch as they "ascend to Heaven." So, despite its cute graphics and bright colours, IMHO it's not one for the kids.

That said, the game itself is a highly enjoyable brick-basher, looks like it's from the same people who created the wonderful Mega World Smash, though this game came much earlier; looks like in MWS they opted for fantasy opponents, like mechanical crabs, mushrooms, etc.

The maximum resolution you can select is 1024×768, which also belies this game's age (!). You're stuck with the game's custom pointer, but you can adjust the mouse speed an also do things like move the camera (NOT recommended!) and choose the "floor" design.

A little annoyingly, there's no chart of what the power-ups do: you just have to keep your eyes peeled on the bottom of the screen to see what each one is. And sometimes the font colour is too close to the screen background to read. But I can tell you that the lilac broken heart is the charmingly-named "Bat Killer" (i.e. lose a life), and the helicopter is for some reason the normal/simple ball. And, in no particular order (as they say on TV):

The "Hypnotic Ball" is the crazy ball, but honestly it's not as "crazy" as you might expect.

"Yo-yo Ball" is fun when you get used to how to use it, BUT beware: when ti times out, the ball remains at whatever speed it was travelling at the time (!).

Plus, there are the usual increase/decrease ball speed and bat size. TIP: Beware of making the bat too big: it makes it near-impossible to aim shots on levels with a curved wall!

So, if you don't mind the animal genocide, it's a great game!

This is one of those games that I'd love for Whiterabbit to publish a full review of it
