Skate Forever is a classic 2D runner with a side view. You control a boy skater who is just in love with this sport. Test your reaction, make the skater jump in time and overcome obstacles and enemies. On the levels you can find special perks that change the gameplay, for example, speeding up the character, or you can take an anti-gravity skate, turn upside down.

The Game:
Skate Forever is a runner type game. Avoid all the obatacles to get to the end of each of the 40 levels. On completing a level you are awarded a star rating out of three stars and the number of attempts you made are recorded. As you progress the levels get harder to beat and you ar eintroduced to new obstacles and gravity defying tricks.

Minimum System Requirements:
OS: Microsoft Windows
Processor: Intel Celeron 1800 MHz
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics
Storage: 132 MB available space
Sound Card: DirectSound Compatible
Additional Notes: Keyboard.

Conclusion:
Skate Forever is an okay runner game with lots of levels to beat. If you want to support the developer you can get it via Steam HERE. It's on sale until the 3rd February, with 50% off at £1.24 (approx $1.70).

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 57 antimalware engines.

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed).

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer over a year ago (that installer would show an advert for a game and then open your browser each time you played and then closed the game down.)

Next Thursday 3rd February we will be getting Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair; it's a brand-new platform adventure from some of the key creative talent behind 'Donkey Kong Country'. With their arch-nemesis Capital B up to no good the buddy duo needs to spring into action once again to save the day!

The best Indie Bundles sites that have been operating from around 2011 are the Humble Bundle and Indie Gala sites (though the latter isn't as good as it used to be) where you'll sometimes find decent bundles with over 90% off the usual price of the games included in the bundles. The Humble site is in my opinion the best; though a more recent addition that is worth checking out called Fanatical games looks to be a serious contender for that title as they have some very good bundles. You can find Fanatical games (that used to be called Bundle stars) HERE.

I've restarted a project I originally started back in 2008 that used to be called Good Games to Grab, where I posted free games over in the forums on a daily basis. Black And White Apocalypse that was given away about two weeks ago by the developer hammergames is always free and can also be downloaded as a colour version. The community member Space pointed this out at the time. You can find both versions over on itch.io via the following links. Black & White version, and Coloured version. :)

You can also find 'all nine' of the developers games (for free) HERE. Some of them look like they are worth investigating. :)
