Sorry, was unable to play enough to generate a proper review. It may be the graphics on this ancient machine or the fact that it's down to the last memory chip. Game played fine, but, for some reason, transitions between levels were extremely slow. Am sure it's my machine and not the game and glad I downloaded it. I should be able to up its performance, though, I should finally get around to fixing my old gaming computer in the next couple of days. Have everything I need now to repair it. Still, the game looks good. Some clarifications: there are both timed and untimed modes. You earn rewards - gold, silver, and bronze - if you go fast enough, even, apparently, in untimed mode. There are also the usual achievements, which can give you more variety of play, if the achievements interest you. Game has complete the picture and spot the differences mini games. There are a LOT of bonuses, so it's worth looking at the rules screens. Should make playing the game a lot clearer - seemed to for me - though it also seemed clear on the 1st couple of levels, and the objectives are spelled out for each level before you start (I assume this requires tool tips on, which I did, but maybe not). You have a guide character, which, if I'm not mistaken is February. The evil witch has imprisoned the rest of the avatars of the months - her brothers and sisters - so the seasons never change and she must be defeated to free them. And each has their own magical bonuses which you earn. So 12 of them. And there's also an Arcade mode that unlocks eventually.

If this game interests you at all, and you don't have more match 3 than you can ever play, I can see no reason why you wouldn't download. A bargain for free.

When will there be another point-n-click game given away that's not a match-3?
I'm missing some decent HOGs, and am tired of all the Falco offerings.

For those wondering about the play mechanics of this game its just more than Match 3, you have to free objects that are hidden behind the grid squares, something that has been done on popular cell phone match 3 games which I'm sure all of you know about. Man I am still counting the crows you have to shoo away on the second level after the first :) I am not sure if the game given away here is the HD version but I do have it in my Steam library as well. You will love this game as its different. FYI One game I am eyeing on Steam this weekend is a clone of Sega Rally Championship called Rally Arcade Classics. Its a passable clone of an Arcade type racer an also has a demo. Check it out if you get a chance. Hope you all are doing well, until tomorrows giveaway.

Pretty well received on Steam, including by a handful of curators. Supposed to be of normal difficulty with some mini games thrown in. Will be downloading and will try and post a short review later. Graphics look good, though supposedly no resolution options. This should be a deal for match 3 fans and those who want to try the genre. Hopefully moderators can get some posts approved in time to encourage others to download, though I'm sure they're busy. But approving posts tomorrow doesn't get you any downloads today. This isn't a match three. It's a collapse game. It made my machine (HP Envy 17 laptop with Win 11) very hot. When I attempted to exit the game, it locked up my computer, forcing me to shut down. I'll let my machine cool down, then maybe play it some more.

I appreciate the free games, GOTD. But I wonder if some of them are too old to be fully compatible with Win 11. Still, thanks for making them available.
