Sawoid was available as a giveaway on September 22, 2013!
You are volunteer assigned to the VIOLATOR ship. Your objective is to conduct a raid into enemy territory and destroy the troop supplies. For this particular long-term mission away from the supply ship, the scientists have developed Sawoid, a totally new type of armament not requiring reammunitioning! Nothing can stand the wrecking Sawoid. However, there is one shortcoming, Sawoid is hard to control! Good luck, private!

@terri824: Sorry, but my englisch is not so good...wanted to offend anyone - but by playing the game it´s hard for me to see (example) are the arrows green or red / pointing up or down...and so on. They comes so quick and the colours are so poor - in Egyptoid all much, much better to see. Overall: the style is too "dusty".
Nice weekend!

This is an OK game. The only real problems with this one is that the "ball/saw" will sometimes slip part the bat on the outside of the extreme left and right sides of the screen. Makes it frustrating when you position your bat as far to one side as it will go, only to have the ball go right past you. This I think is a programming oversight.
However, the Egyptoid game given away a couple of weeks ago is an excellent game! This one, not so much. Programming and play control vary significantly between these kind of games, even between games put out by the same company.
This one's worth a try. YMMV.

I think some Metallic, Guns and Roses and this would be great together. Have to give it a try lol Thanks!

A breakout game is not for me. I got enough of it when i played Arkanoid incessantly so I will pass on this. I haven't found anything with the appeal Arkanoid had when it first came out.
To lookemnottouchme maybe the bricks are supposed to go transparent to confuse you. I am not sure but maybe LOL.
Good luck with this game everyone.

Gee #4, that's a little harsh don't you think, not to mention rude. I'm sure there must be a better way to describe what you consider flaws in the game.

Egyptoid 1 & are great but this is *****! Poor graphic - it´s hard too see anything (too small and not enough colour on the downcoming objects). The "future-look" feels like an old game in the ´80s...

Sometimes some blocks become transparent (But with shadows) when hit first time, and with second hit are restored

I installed Sawoid during a previous GameGiveAwayofTheDay and it still works and plays great. I don't know why exactly, but I always think of AniMusic videos when I play Sawoid. Thanks.
