This looks like a fun game. However, I can't get the download to install. I keep getting an error box that says "Failed to launch the program." Does anyone have a suggestion?

Mark,
Hello Mark, it's likely your security is blocking the installation due to the Themida wrapper. Some security software will block anything with Themida because it can be used to hide malware. There are three things that will solve the issue:
1) ... turn off your security temporarily, install then turn your security back on
2) ... white list the giveaway files with your security
3) ... reboot in safe mode with networking, install, then reboot as normal.

Whiterabbit-uk, Thank you. That did fix the problem. My computer crashed a few weeks ago and my white list must've gotten messed up in the recovery. I didn't even think about that.

Thanks. Fan of genre & didn't have this one. Good you mentioned free CoH 2. Worthwhile grab. Can be bit tricky at first but a wide screen helps find some of maneuvers the tutorials call for. Like troops can get 'buried' off main part of action. They'd seen to have added some indicator trail markers in tutorial that help.

I downloaded this game last time it was given away, and I enjoyed it as far as I could play it. Unfortunately I was not able to complete the game. This was because the game kept crashing every time I tried to play level 19 in the Mystery Valley part of the game. There are three difficulty levels and level 19 crashed in each of the difficulty levels. I am not aware of a solution to this problem, so if anyone knows of a solution I would be pleased to hear it.

You´ll have hours of fun with this Game, even the try to win each level with 0 (Zero) Damage make fun, but in the last levels ... see yourself and never give up, it IS possible to win ;-)

delenn13, Thanks for the heads up Delenn.
I already had the free dlc. They converted the base game to free to play last month. I reckon they have doe that to persuade those who install the free part to then go on to buy the dlc. In small doses they are reasonably cheap, but I think its still a rip off. (apart from the free stuff). I paid quite a lot for base game, nine of the expansions and three of the DLC's (not counting the always free ones Songs of Yuletide and South Indian Portraits 5 yr anniversary gift). I stopped buying them after a time as I thought they were ripping the community off with so many paid for DLC's. The total cost of all DLC's and expansions and collections comes to a staggering £220+ for a map based strategy game.
The main plus for this game is its moddable so you'll find lots of extra content for free.
