Also for the latest Steam sales check THIS Steam database site out. You can list the games in 'price' & 'percentage off' by clicking the headers. If you link SteamDB with your Steam account, all games that you already have will be highlighted in green and those in blue are on your wish list. When there are Steam games being given away, you'll see the percentage off as 100%. It's worth checking this regularly to make sure you don't miss those fantastic deals and freebies. Delenn usually posts links to all free games within several hours of them going live, so check her links at the top of this comment as well.

Don't forget to check Indie Gala's freebie section HERE, then click on the Showcase header, selecting freebies from the drop down menu; recent additions include Cov Shooter, Garfield Kart (a family oriented racing game with cartoon like graphics), Pixel Puzzles 2: Christmas ( a traditional style jigsaw puzzle game), North (asylum seeker game), Nostradamus the Last Prophecy, (a point and click mystery adventure), Snowball (A more "discovery-based" approach to pinball. The best Indie Bundles sites that have been operating from around 2011 are the Humble Bundle and Indie Gala sites (though the latter isn't as good as it used to be) where you'll sometimes find decent bundles with over 90% off the usual price of the games included in the bundles. The Humble site is in my opinion the best. A more recent addition that is worth checking out are the Fanatical bundles (that used to be called Bundle Stars) that you can find HERE.

I've restarted a project I originally started back in 2008 where I posted free games over in the forums. I won't be posting them daily; this time I'll post them as and when I have time and the inclination. I originally intended starting the project just before the lockdown and only posted one game, a really good breakout game that in my opinion is one of the better breakouts ever released called Breakquest. The pandemic and other reasons saw me not getting around to continuing the project back then, but I've just restarted it a few days ago. I've already posted a free version of Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe that was released free in preparation for the second game to be released then yesterday I posted details of a free standing mod for Battlefield 2, which after helping with beta testing, would say it's one of the best mods made for the game and dare I say it better than the original. It started out as a sequel to the original Battlefield 1942 called Battlefield 1944, but the modder decided to make it free standing and changed the name to Battlegroup 44. You'll find the two games on the front page of the new forum titled Free Game Project Game HERE. I've also placed a link in the first thread to Breakquest.
