Whiterabbit-uk,
Looks good for the kids and as a single guy without any, I won't be downloading this.
Just posting because I did want to wish you a Happy Father's Day!

This game was made with Macromedia Projector, a very outdated object-oriented presentation tool sometimes used as a primitive game engine, and that may be the reason it doesn't work on many people's systems. I tried it out and it works on Win7 X64, as far as that goes.
The difficulty in controlling movement with any precision is the reason I found the game hard, not because it was really challenging in the design of the game itself. It should be fine for younger children if they are persistent enough to overcome the awkward bounces of the character. While it's extremely rare for me to uninstall a GGOTD offering, I'm done with this one.
Thank you anyway, MyPlayCity, for participating here. You do offer a good bit of variety. :)

Why does this program support Windows 8?

Installed and ran fine on my HP Windows 10 Core I3 desktop. Except for the notice from my system saying the graphics resolution was not optimum (not sure if it means program graphics was not high enough resolution or if it was saying that my machine couldn't handle the level of graphics that the program used as default). Anyway, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the controls are a bit soft, not responding at the same rate with your moves, sometimes moving too quickly, sometimes too slowly. My biggest issue, however, was the fact that it is a keyboard-only game. Most keyboard controlled games have some sort of response to the mouse. I'm sure that the movement functions could be translated to mouse controls.

It downloaded and installed fine on my w10 pro - collectors edition ( i turned off the antivirus) and ran well.
However i just couldn't seem to play it. Every time i had to jump, or move in a certain direction to avoid trouble, there seemed to be delayed in responding. The characters are cute for a while but would become boring eventually.
I ended up getting so frustrated that i just uninstalled it, tried again - loading, installing but still the same result.
Sorry, not for me i guess

Red Riding Hood
Didn't get a notification about this game for some reason, and had to come to a bookmarked link to see if there was a giveaway, then downloaded and installed on my portable, and got the Memory access violation error WR saw, downloaded it to the desktop however and after 1 false start, on the 2nd opening it ran. A jumper type game that my daughter had fun with for a little while, but even she said it got redundant after awhile.
Would recommend to the developers that they change the areas and play more than it does currently, and the control isn't always accurate, as we would time a jump, only to have it happen to late for the objective we were trying for.
Also the obvious problem of not working on some modern machines.

Though I'm not into fairytales, this would be a great gift for kids who like them. Little Red Riding Hood was my favorite one. I'm a young person. I'm not old.

@ Whiterabbit-uk, a shame that -- of all people, -- Red Riding Hood would fail to run on your computers! I did not play the game, but it installed and ran fine on my 64-bit Windows10 laptop. Only I don't quite understand why it asks permission "to make changes" to my device (perhaps in order to store preferences and/or the score?)
Extra, unrelated note: Haven't followed any possible update posted by you, but I hope your children's exam preparations go on smoothly.

Would not run on my Win 10 PC (Dell XPS 980, 64-bit, Core i7 6700 processor, Nvidia GTX 750 Ti graphics card). Tried setting Compatibility Mode for Vista SP 2 and XP SP 3, no help.
I almost didn't try at all, the characters in the pictures never change, it looks like animation consists of moving the same images to different places. That tells me the rest of the game is likely made from similar shortcuts, not something that would draw me in.

Game installs & works fine on my Win 10 laptop.

Installed and runs OK on Win 10 Pro, with a 10 year old Nvidia graphics card installed. Definitely similar to Turtix, but nowhere near as good, in my opinion, though still very playable for kids and adults alike, assuming you like this type of game. Being in my late 60s, my reactions have slowed a bit (a lot!) in the decades since Doom arrived on the scene, so these simple platformers are ideal to pass a couple of idle hours these days. (Unless another Borderlands episode is released. :)

Seems like a fun game since I like Turtix. Couldn't get it to run on my win10 computer even when I changed the game settings. I guess the game is for lower screen resolutions than newer screens have.

Installed and running for me on Win 10 without any problems. Not normally into these types of platform games but seems ok for an hour or so if bored. Thank you GGAOTD

Installed and (perhaps surprisingly) works fine on Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Maybe it just wasn't tested thoroughly enough on Win 10. A colorful platformer with nice graphics, indeed very similar to the Turtix series. Primarily for kids, but adults may enjoy it too. Thumbs up from me.

I've given this a thumbs up because I really liked the original Turtix game, it was fun and quirky without being too hard for people with considerably slower reactions than a 10 year old :) Hope it doesn't have the same mouse issues as Turtix 2 (windows XP. 7 and 10) but have not had a chance to play as very busy today.
