Oh, Frosty the Snowman, is just a fairytale, they say. Yes, he was made of snow, but the children know how he came to life one day.... There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found. For when santa placed it on his head, he began to dance around! Of course this is the future and now with Cloning there are multiple santa's to do all the deliveries. But times are tough and Frosty needs some cash so hes now protecting Santa Claus as a side hustle. Putting on his trusty boxing glove, he can knock the flying killer snowballs headed his way back at the robbers to deal with all of them to win the level, but care must be taken to avoid hitting Santa or you will lose your job.
Ok, I just made that story up to understand whats going on (and why snowman looked so gangster). Controls are the mouse to move the direction of aiming, mouse button to put on a boxing glove (which needs to be put on each time after hitting the snowball) and WASD to move (no remapping in game to arrow keys - *BOO* for lefties who will have to use a 3rd party utility like Microsoft Powertoys to remap them.
Despite being about santa/snowman its not for kids since santa 'dies' if hit..Why if its a snowball is it killing people? The speed of the ball may be slightly still too fast imo at first and should be ramped up over levels to get people used to the game mechanics but overall this one is actually more playable and a tad less manic than the last one we were given that used the same base template from Gamemaker Studios. The gameplay itself doesnt draw me in enough to want to play this much personally, but some may enjoy this arcade like gameplay more than I did. Rating: D+
