What to do?

Google Says:
Uncommon: You tried downloading an unfamiliar and potentially dangerous piece of software.
We've found that the website you tried to download the file from has been known to distribute malware.

I had a similar warning with yesterdays Sokoban game when I tried to download some of the other games that were advertised at the beginning of the game. I think this game is from the same site. The giveaway team have always ensured that games that are downloaded from their servers have been thoroughly tested first (they use several different anti-malware suites). They have been giving away games regularly for over 12 years and have never given away a game infected with malware. The wrapper they use to protect the files does contain Themida code, which can also be used to hide malware, so some anti malware suites will block the game from being installed.

Did you get this warning from downloading directly from the giveaway site, or from the games original distributors? The game givewaway site has never distributed malware. If they had, we would be getting loads of complaints from the community. The comments that have been made previously about malware always concern the wrapper, which often gives a false positive.

With respect to what to do, if you like puzzle games I'd download the game. If you are still unsure, use a Virtual drive to install the game to first to make sure it's safe. If you don't have a virtual drive, there are free ones available, for example:

2) ... Daemon tools Lite
3) ... WinCDEmu
4) ... Virtual Drive

I'm no expert on the use of virtual drives. I usually format my disks fairly regularly so rarely use a virtual disk, but they are useful. The best person to help with this is Mikiem, who usually posts lots of tech advice over in the forums. He may have already posted something there. Hopefully he will respond with some advice today, so check back later. :)
