I love bubble games, and this one is oddly compelling. The elves are too funny as they shout for help through their bubbles and scream as they fall when the bubbles break. I am really enjoying this and the upper levels are becoming quite challenging.

Tried installing it twice. When I clicked on box that said Run Game on Install (or something to that effect), just got blank screen. Couldn't get anything to happen-no music or anything-until Cntl-Alt-Delete. Finally uninstalled it. Too bad-it looked interesting.

Does not work on WIN98SE. :-(

If there is no separate activation you can simply copy the extracted Installer from your temporary files folder and reinstall from that installer as often as you want. :o)
Just have a look for a new setup.exe or a folder containing a .tmp file. Usually it´s something like "WE42.tmp"
Rename to .exe and smile.

If there´s a separate activation you would have to backup the registry string that contains the regkey of the application. A bit more complicated but will work too.
You can watch the install and activation using "zsoft uninstaller" for example to find the key of such a program.

Most games work the first way. :o) This one too.

Hi dianne m (#25)! Most software that is used for backing up. Most people got Roxio or Nero with their computers that will do the job. Another way is to clone your hard drive to a backup hard drive.

This gave me the dreaded "blue screen" with the long winded message about shutting down to prevent damage. Had to manually shut off computer to correct it. I am going to uninstall...not worth crashing over.

Yet another bubble shooter game, but as someone else said this one is more challenging than yesterday's Christmas game. The story line is cute and should please kids.

Very nice music and graphics, and music and sounds volume is adjustable in options. It's nice that the default upon install is to run at full screen instead of having to change that in options. (On previous games a few people seemed to have trouble locating full screen options.) Saves current game and supports multiple players, so more than one kid can have a saved game at one time. Just need to change players to get to the correct one.

Lots of bonus options like bomb balls that explode multiple layers, entire-row blasters, etc. Also has coins that drop, catching the coins (just let them hit the shooter ball) brings extra points.

The only odd thing is the story line mentions "freeing" the trapped dwarves from the bubbles, you can see little faces looking out from some of the bubbles. But freeing them results in them falling with a little scream, catching them brings extra points. (It's similar to catching coins, just let them hit the shooter ball) But there doesn't seem to be any penalty for letting them drop uncaught, they just fall off the bottom of the screen.

how do i backup this game if i must format?

#15 Cheryl, not sure what you mean by your "cursor moves faster than the screen allows" ...this is not a very fast moving game. Just watch the colors of the balls, both the one you're shooting and the next color coming up shown on the left.

To shoot the balls just click the left mouse button. You have to hit the same color ball to clear them, and the total after shooting a ball must be two or more of the same color. The game shouldn't be lost unless the balls reach the bottom of the screen.

If, as you say, shooting only one ball consistently loses the game then it's possible this game may not work on your computer. Check the system requirements to run the game, listed right under user ratings at the top of the screen. If your computer isn't not equal or better than the minimum requirements then this game won't run properly. If that's the problem don't worry, just uninstall and wait for the next ones. They release lots of games for kids here, so you're sure to find another your kids will enjoy.

Can you please put up a full verison of Jets’n’Guns? That game looks sweet.

Great game. Thouroughly enjoy the gameplay and the motif. Also, can even play it on the laptop without connecting the mouse. Fun for young and old.

when exits, makes my computer crash.

I am having the same problem as #9. I really want this game. I have tried the mirror link and still the same thing. It is like the game is playing but all you can see is about an inch on the top of screen. The rest of the screen is black. OH not good.

I loved the game , what i got to play of it!!!! i tried the regular download first it played for a short time then i got a blank screen.
so then i did the mirror link same thing so i am down with it.

Could be a cool game, but could use some help before turning it over to the kids (young ones, but I like to be prepared). My cursor seems to move faster than the screen allows, and...how do you shoot the balls? Clicking one just seems to lose the game. I hat to look dumb in front of the children. Can anyone help? A kid, maybe?

I've just downloaded and installed Phantasia1 on my win98se system with 640mb ram. When I double click the desktop icon all I get is an error message telling me that 'This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down' Oh dear, dear, not a good start for trialling new software!!

Extra cute game. Deleted "fireman" game because of problems, but no problems with this game. Maybe they will give the "fireman" game again. Nicer than xms ball game.

Downloaded Big Kahuna Reef 2 and it worked just fine for about 5 times, then asked for the registration key. I thought this was supposed to be a permanent download unless we deleted it. What is wrong; I really liked this game.

Hey Fran, have you tried using the mirror download? Maybe that one will work. I had a problem with the fireman game the other day, so tried the mirror link and the game worked fine. The game is a blast, and if you have kids, they will love it lots. I hope this helps

Just had to comment again. This really is a great version of this genre. I enjoyed yesterdays that was also in the same genre, and although it's got the three game modes, this is much more entertaining in my opinion. I've been playing it for the past few hours and throughly enjoyed it. The later version looks really interesting with the three game modes; hehe......

I love you guys for all the games you offer, but this is the 3rd bubble game in a week... who will save us from the menacing, impending bubbles? XD
