PacMania 3

I installed the game and it's quite fun except I can't get the aquamania mode to work. The maze is there with dots and creatures, but there is no boat and nothing is happening. The other modes work fine. Am I the only one with this problem?

Hi, I cannot download the free pacman from 1/7/07, can you help me??

I have downloaded and installed the game, but the activate.exe doesn't work. It eithers gives me a message that it requires a password or the activating window comes up with the message that it is "Connecting to game giveawayoftheday.com: checking giveaway availability..." This window won't close except thru task manager. I have tried repeatedly. I have even reinstalled going thru the mirror site. I have installed several programs from here with no problem. Any ideas? Thanx for the freebies.

Not at all like the original Pacman or Ms. Pacman. The ghosts are much stupider here. I uninstalled it.

Charlie, good to see the progression of how you solved your own problem.

Moral: Don't bother with program "wizards", they frequently end up messing you up. Besides, if you can solve your own IT problems then you don't need no stinkin' "wizards". : )

Nice game today, different takes on Pacman. The aqua version is crazy but fun, classic is very close to original but mouse controlled, car version a little slow, advanced is nuts!

I get an error that says:
The GAME32.IMG file is linked to missing export SHELL32DLL:SHGetFolderPathW.

What does this mean?
How can it be resolved?

I finally figured out the problem-when using winzip wizard instead of classic, it automatically runs setup, install-& you never see the winzip documentation which says to run activate.exe as a separate file in the zip process. Once the wizard has run install & setup, activate.exe disappears when winzip closes. When I ran winzip in classic mode (on 5th install try) I saw what was happening, & saw & ran the acticate.exe separately from the setup.exe program. Worked.

PS the other files in the Pacmania folder are: readme, try other games, inimstall,buynow, alawar games & pacmania 3. But no activate.exe. Have not had this problem with other games, including from alawar.

Cannot find activate.exe anywhere on my C drive. Have installed & unzipped twice to a folder namedPacmania 3, but no file to activate. Where would it be? Answer not found in forums.

What fun! I found the graphics easy on the eyes and the levels challenging. It is always a pleasure to find games that have more than one way to play. PacMania3 not only adds visual change for the various modes of the game but some changes in the reactions of the pieces as well. The patterns are not as simple as they appear and the option to replay a level with a password is an actual word relating to the game unlike one other game offered here on GGOTD. I do wish I didn't have to enter my name every time I play again, and then go through a maze of "enter", "left click", and "type" etc. in a game meant to be played over and over. All and all, two thumbs up. Bravo Alawar.

#25, try our mirror link and redownload please

I'm having an installation file is corrupted or incomplete error. Anyone know the cause of this? I'm going to redownload it but I think it will keep happening, I've had this happen on another game from here:(

blockhead... Make sure that your firewall isn't blocking TCP ports 2106 to up around 2146. Once you are sure they are okay, call your ISP and ask if they are blocking those ports.

I suppose that I do not know how to read. I tried to activate this software several times and I get an error message that the website is unavailable for activation. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks again. This worked fine on my computer and my one sons. The old computer my youngest son has in his room has problems with these downloads...It's an outdated machine and only has Win 98 on it, so I'm not complaining.

I installed this game but I can't find it on my computer.

The game will not start up on my computer at all.Successfully activated but no show,bummer.

I love pacman! This is great to be able to play using a mouse click! Hated trying to use arrow keys with the older versions. Great game. Thanks team!

Well I never though i'd get into playing packman, but this with four variations is really good fun. Yet another game my family and i are already enjoying; thank you.

Anyone who downloaded the board game yesterday and kept getting errors. Try it again. I, out of curiosity (before i was going to delete it) checked it out again, despite numerous failed attempts yesterday; I kept getting the "have to shutdown due to error message"....well, it worked today on both computers, yet yesterday no matter how often I redownloaded it, it wouldn't work. It's actually quite an enjoyable game. Don't redownload it, just try the already installed game as the activation will obviously not work now.

the time it takes to go through options starting the game and also quiting it - im talking about this animations - drives me crazy! i should be clickclickclik and not click click click

Has lots of variety, very different then the normal stuff im used to in a the arcades, a great spinoff of pacman! highly reccomend!

you forgot to activate the game, just run activate.exe to make it fully functional.

downloaded just fine, its a fun game..i will get better. the water version is a hoot! those blasted octopie will eat one! the water moves well, the colors are good and i like the music. thank-you again.

Ok pacmania 3 looks really cool, but where is the password to make it truely free??? I checked all read me files lic. etc. and found none.

60 min game play isn't what I call free!!!!
