I downloaded this yesterday.. It downloaded and installed easily. When I went to run the program it kept giving me an error. I forgot to get a screen shot of it. I tried it 4 times.. I deleted it. I have Teen grandkids who would like this. I have vista 32 bit. I guess I could try it again to tell you what happened.

If you don't go by the background picture it is more challenging.
Picture puzzle mini-games are some of my favourites.
I'm enjoying it so far.

I like the unusual theme. However it is far too simple, likely taking longer to download and install than to solve.

(Not sure how many of these 'fears' occur in 'real' life. If they did playing this game is the least of your worries.)

I saw "puzzle" and was ready to grab this but yeah, too simple. Thanks, Stephen, for your review and saving me the trouble. I wonder who their target audience is since it seems too graphic for children and too simple for adults.

Installation:

Oops Puzzles downloads to a 130 MB zip file that unzips to two files, (a set-up executable and a read me). The game installs to the following path by default, but can be changed if you wish. The installed game is approximately 298 MB in size.

Five shortcuts are installed to the desktop, four of which can be safely deleted (i.e. Falco Space - Online Game!, FalconLine Online Games Website, FalcoGo WebGL Games! and Free Games Downloads!). If you don't want to install the games shortcut to the desktop during installation, just make sure the install desktop shortcut is unchecked when the 'additional task's window appears; you will still get two of the other Falcoware shortcuts installed (i.e. FalconLine Online Games Website & FalcoGo WebGL Games shortcuts). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you also uncheck the appropriate checkbox when the 'additional task's window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window).

The Game:

Oops Puzzles consists of 31 mosaic puzzles. Each puzzle comprises of a grid 3 x 4 in size with twelve sections of an image that are jumbled up and placed along both sides of the grid. The puzzles are very easy comprising of only 12 pieces, and once a piece is placed correctly it is locked in place. There's even a cheat button in the form of a hand lens, that when depressed shows a faint image of the completed puzzle. This is the sort of puzzle you'd give to a five year old to solve, however, the images are of a horror nature and most of the images are not suitable for children.

You can play any of the puzzles in any order you wish. The puzzles are so simple I completed three in just over 2 minutes, meaning, the maximum game play value this puzzle game has is around 20 to 30 minutes.

If the images were more child friendly, I'd say this was worth downloading for your children to enjoy; however, there is no challenge presented with these mosaic puzzles and therefore I cannot recommend it.
