One in Space:

In Brief:
One in Space is a first person Zombie shooter, seemingly set aboard a space ship and created using the Unity engine.

The Game/Conclusion:
'One in Space' is a short first person shooter, with Unity Assets that I've seen in other games. You have unlimited Ammunition, but need to reload every 30 rounds or before (I think it may automatically reload once you've emptied the magazine), but I would advise when moving from one area to another or before you turn a corner, that you reload, because each zombie requires several rounds to kill, depending on how close you are to it and where you place your shots. Head shots don't kill with one hit like you'd expect. .

As you progress there are more zombies to deal with, so you need to ensure you have sufficient rounds in your magazine because it takes a few seconds to reload, which could mean the difference between surviving an onslaught of several zombies, or having to start the level again. There doesn't appear to be any save points to keep you from having to start from the beginning of a level each time you die. :(

Watch out for the blood machines that shoot gobs of blood at you. If you are hit by blood you lose some health.

There are only three levels. The aim is to survive as long as you can. I never came across any health packs; but then I only played each level for a short time as I was keen to get back to playing an old favourite game of mine called Battlefield Vietnam. At some point in levels one and two you'll meet up with an anime female character, who appears to do nothing but move a round a little and says nothing.

The music becomes somewhat repetitive after twenty or so minutes of game play. Overall not a game I'll be keeping; that said; it is playable and although all the zombies appear to be clones, it is playable. If you don't own many zombie games, it's worth keeping; if only to fill in a little time between other more interesting games.

When you die, the screen appears to freeze; to return to the main menu via the the back button, you first need to press the Esc key, which then unlocks the freeze. (It's probably a foible of the game engine). You can adjust the resolution of the game and the quality of the graphic via the options menu; though there's not much difference between the lowest and highest settings (of which there are several}. You'll see a frame count in the top left of the screen.
