Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru was available as a giveaway on September 22, 2020!
Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru - The game requires you not to allow evil spirits to get to you. Kill him quickly and ruthlessly. Is a game in which you need to press the corresponding buttons on the keyboard (arrows) at a certain moment to damage the enemy! If the enemy has reached you, then you have a little more time until the enemy has dealt you four blows with the sword. When the enemy has health at 0%, then our protagonist will say "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru", this means "You're already dead" and after that our opponent asks "NANI ???", this translates to " What???". After these two replicas, our main character begins to shine very brightly and after that the enemy's head explodes into small pieces.
Key features:
- Good graphics design
- Unusual death of the enemy
- 8 levels (each level is harder and harder)
- 13 achievements.
- Suitable for achievement hunters.

Whiterabbit-uk, your time is best spent with your friends -- not on this game!
A commenter on Steam pointed out there are 8 levels to beat, and each one takes 45 seconds. Well, it might take someone a little more time than that to get used to pressing the correct arrow keys. It's kind of a rhythm game, you press the specified arrow key as it floats from right to left. If you time it just right (in time with the one soundtrack song), as it passes through the hanging circle, damage is done to the evil spirit. Miss enough times and the evil spirit gets you. With more effort this could have been much better: different songs/rhythyms, some way to put traps out for the evil spirit, multiple paths where you can back away in different directions, maybe multiple evil spirits and you press a key to pick which one to attack -- each could have different powers or weaknesses, your player could have different skills or weapons to develop....
The use of the arrow keys reminds me of Melody's Escape (look it up on Steam, $9.99 USD), one of my favorite games. Melody has better graphics, uses a combination of arrow keys and WASD keys, in time with any of the included songs or any of your own songs. It generates a game level and beat pattern for any song based. My favorite songs to use with it are Ready to Go (Republica), 40,000 Headmen (a nice slow long song from Traffic), and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (from Man with John Cipolina on guitar). But you can play to whatever you like! You choose your difficulty level, and try to beat the best score for the song you choose. You can also pick different themes, outfits, characters, etc. through Steam Workshop (and some that come with the game). Easy to zone out and ignore the rest of the world for a while!
