Find a You tube video of the game play, for example HERE, then use one f those apps that allows you to grab the music from the video. The main site has given a couple away over the last year for example Allavsoft and Fast Video Dowloader. There should be free versions of similar applications available. The only issue is the sound effects that you can here during game play. If you know the title of the music, you'd probably find it on You tube.

Took a bit to download and opened easily. Typical hog in following one thing at a time. The hidden objects are shapes, so little different and easy. The graphics are good and there is some variation with talking to characters and other games. I finished first section and moved on trough the gate and it is like you start over at that point. Short game. No problems on Windows 10. I think I played it through in less than two hours, although I did cheat by using a walkthough twice, when I couldn't figure out what the next logical step was.

Graphics are pretty good, although I feel looking at this game as if is at least several years old.

There are four distinct games regions, with several (4-7) interconnected areas where you have to run back and forth solving problems. Hidden object areas all involved gathering pieces of an item to build something else. Gathering was based on silhouettes of pieces, not a list. Some of the items were a little hard to spot. The same hidden object area is used multiple times in each level, so pieces you don't collect for the first object you build may be needed for the next object. When in doubt, return to the hidden object area and see if anything new has appeared.

Plot was pretty standard (rescue people from villain as you accomplish certain tasks and find a lot of keys). I have no idea what the time setting for this game is supposed to be, but it seems to be all over the place between historical and a little futuristic. Ending was appropriately ambivalent (as are all hidden object adventure games).

Most of the puzzles were pretty straightforward for any casual gamer, but a couple of them involved a bit of thought and planning. My favorite game involved the sun and the rain and a cannon.

So, it is a decent way to spend a couple of hours while also watching TV, but I probably won't feel the need to replay it. It *is* a decent game for kids. There is nothing gory or sinister or inappropriate. No one dies. I would have no hesitation letting a 10 year old play this.

The game downloaded fine, but when I try to play it and click on the link to create a new name it kicks me out to my desktop. I'd really like to try this game but can't get it to play. Any suggestions?

Downloaded OK but upon opening I get this message: Game has stopped working: A problem caused the game to stop working correctly, Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I did 3 clean downloads and uninstalled the programs too. Deactivated ad blocker, but that didn't help. It looks like a nice game. Next time.

Win10 64bit Home. I don't know why this game was offered as Win 10. According to MPC it only goes to Win7. But the game loaded easily enough. I did have to do the compatibility mode and it seems to be working now. Set it for Win7 and turn off DPI settings. Easy enought game and i'm still working my way through it. Thank you.

Oddly Enough: Piep Piper is a nice Hidden Object game. It has a high fairy tale feel to it especially on the first locations. Later in the game it tends to go a bit more darkCoins are owned, kids are kidnapped, It's up to us to solve the problem. We do this by solving several hidden object levels that work with shapes. Although some might like this less than searching with words it makes the game very accessible to those that don't speak English (that well)

Graphics are nice. It's a nicely drawn world although in dark spots some objects can be a bit difficult to spot. The vibe I got was that of Alice in Wonderland (The Johny Depp one) To be fair I didn't really notice nor remember the audio.
A bug I encountered was when a task in my journal didn't get ticked off, this did however not affect the possibility to complete the game. I also think the game is a tad short.

All in all this is a very nice giveaway worthy of playing and playing again after a few weeks or so :) 7/10 due to length

My problems installing this game were due to recent a AVG anti-virus upgrade.

I have the same problem as #4. Then I tried to play the game anyway and it hung up and bounced me out.

DL and installed. Cannot get passed the 'Play' screen.

Nice mixture of puzzles and HOG, not too hard to play. I would change the music to something less repetive. The HOG scenes are not too easy to solve and lead to a usefull device. An improvement would be an extra puzzle to put the whole device together.
I like this one.

This game was very clumsy to use with Win 8.1. The game cursor/pointer was not accurate which caused problems in identifying objects, tasks, and locations in the game. Some tasks and destinations of the game were fairly tedious, requiring too many uses of the Hint button. Also, a map of progress would have been helpful to help the player see progress was actually being made as s/he worked through the tedious steps. I have spent about 90 min on the game and have no idea if I was getting anywhere. Because of that, I chose to quit the game.

Nice one on Windows 10 x64 Pro. Even like the music tho did lower it a bit. Nice graphics considering the teaser pics didn't grab me showing a series of ladder shapes in some spots but they do work after a while. Makes a chance from usual butterfly, ink well, bucket and such many HOGS throw up. Bit of a story at first from what I can tell. Haven't gotten to the side games but likely good stuff too. Plays fast, including the hint button.
Keeper with 8.5/10 for fans. Thanks GOTD.

Oddly Enough: Pied Piper
Another HOG w/some twists from MPC. Downloaded and installed well on Win 10 x64 as usual ;) An Alawar game, and they always seem to have quality products. This is loosely based on an old fairytale by the way.
Aptly titled Oddly, as it's an unusual game with unusual screens and some interesting mini games within. My daughter is really liking this HOG as you know they are a fav of hers, although this could be described as an adventure game too..with more than half of it being adventure/mini-games ;)
A bit of an easier game it seemed to me, but she is enjoying it so far so check this one out if you care for any of these elements! Thank you GGAOTD and MPC for these games like always..and wishes that WhiteRabbit and his family are healing in this time. Hopefully extended family gathering is helping that.

I wish I could comment this positively, but I am encountering a most unusual problem. The game installs fine, and it runs great (all the introductory screens, options, etc.) up until the point that I would enter my first "move" of the game. Then it complains to Windows that it has a problem and quits. I have installed many games from MPC and had no issues, but this is a first for me. I am running Windows 10.1 under Parallels on a Mac. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Oh, yes! I like this one! Unusually for me, I started it up with the sound on - and the voice took me by surprise, because it sounded like a real person, not a robot, with a comprehensible accent. The music too was quite bearable, although I don't know how long I would keep that on, because it does depend on other people's ears as well. (The other ears are usually listening to something else, which is why my sound is normally off.)

Downloading was very fast and straightforward, no problems at all with installing the game and getting going. The graphics are great, detailed, colourful and interesting - and at least at the beginning, the puzzles aren't too demanding.

This definitely looks like a keeper for me - I shall go back to it a little later, and see what lies beyond that imposing gateway and the little streets inside.

Thanks once again to GAOTD, to MPC and of course, to Whiterabbit, who gets a virtual hug too this weekend.

A fun HOG/adventure game with a few nitpicks. D/L'd and installed fine on Win 8.1 (after disabling Avast for a few minutes, of course; I really hate that we now have to do that!). The HOGs are not terribly difficult, but the idea of doing only the silhouettes instead of descriptions is kind of a drag. I like when there are occasional twists to the HOGs, like silhouettes or 'search in the dark', but don't like it for all the time. Hints, if needed, replenish fairly quickly, though unlike most of these games, a hint that merely takes you back to the main part doesn't allow you to use another hint immediately; you have to wait for it to replenish to get the actual hint as to where you should go. I really do try to avoid hints, but when I need 'em, I need 'em :).

It's also a very quiet game, since all the dialog is to read and the music is repetitive and slow; this isn't a negative necessarily (I get nutso when there's too much excitement going on :)) but seems to make it easier for me to close the game for a while, which is probably good for my productivity :).

Overall, while far from the really interesting, challenging, and exciting HOG/Adventures that I love, this one is a thumbs up if you like this genre and don't mind the silhouettes as a change.

This is the usual Pied Piper story: town has rats, hires guy to get rid of them, town refuses to pay, guy kidnaps the children. The odd part comes in as you enter the story as a debt collector who has to find gold coins throughout the game because even with their kids at risk, the townsfolk don't want to cough up the fee. Decidedly odd.

When I first tried to play this, it lagged very badly then crashed. Tried 3 times, the same. I un-installed it and I am re-downloading it now to re-install and try again. I really hope it works for me this time because it looked like a nice game. Wish me luck, lol.

Installed it on my W10 laptop but it won't run properly and crashes when I click on pretty much anything. Uninstalled, reinstalled, same story. Installed it on my old W8.1 desktop and it works fine. I'm not a fan of HOGs where I have to find pieces of objects. Hopefully there will be some variation as the game progresses.

For weeks now , "Succesfully activated , but no game, what to do?

I startet the Setup.exe and the key was activated but how do i get the game now??

It downloaded easily and quickly. But when I tried to start the game the screen size was wrong. When I tried to go to options to change it, the game hung.

That must have been some rough days for your family, my thoughts are with you and my sincere condolences.

This is a nice HOG worth downloading, although I like searching by description better than searching by shape like in this one.
The objects are not too hard to find though.

Regularly you'll find pieces of a device in a HOG scene. When all the pieces are found, this device will be put together automatically, it would have been nice to leave that to the player to put them all together.
