Well, it's something a bit different! Worth having a try, so I downloaded it. It's nicely designed, and so far not hard to play - though it will of course get harder!
I didn't fancy Sudoku until I tried it . . . I think this one could become quite addictive too.
Simple games are good for passing the time during a break, and this one looks like a goodun for my purposes. Thank you!

This looks to be a very fun game. But the game didn't register my mouse clicks when it should have and messed up the sequence. By the time the first click registered, I had already clicked the second and/or third number and the sequence wasn't correct. I ran out of time before I should have because of the slow response. I had to stop playing because I play to relax not get a frustration headache when the game doesn't work properly. Excellent and fun game if it worked right.

Hey Wabbit,
I don't think i will be posting any more games from Giveaway Club. They have gotten too aggressive with their hidden or deceiving installations of unwanted software(PUPs, etc). But I will keep my eye out for other games.
Indie Gala has a new free game.. It's now....
The Adventurer - Episode 1: Beginning of the End https://www.indiegala.com/dieyoung?massive#giveaway
As far as the GGOTD..Boy, does Numericon bring back memories. I used to play it a lot because I like the Sudoku games. For it's time the graphics were pretty. The only thing to improve this game would be to add a mode that is not timed. Especially for figuring out the game when you first start playing. I haven't downloaded it yet because I have to disable my Malwarebytes Pro..but I will. It will tax the brain matter.
Thanks to GGOTD and MPC for the opportunity to try this game and the Wrascally Wabbit for his review.
Huggles to you and the family. Sorry I haven't been posting a lot..Been busy since I got back with lots of things. I have tried to keep up on the forum at least.

Wow, Meridian '93! Good memories!
Game is pretty good, although I wish there were an option that is not timed. Like some others, I play games to relax, not be timed to complete a task or mission. I have enough of that in the RW.
Thank you, Game GAOTD and MPC! (and of course, good 'ol Meridian '93!)

Part of the strategy of this is the use of the numbers. Using 8 as a total, if I used two numbers, such as 4+4=8, I won 16 points. If I used three numbers, such as 3+3+2=8, I won 24 points. If I used four numbers, I won 32 points. Larger combinations seemed to make the game pretty happy too. This strategy becomes a drawback when doing the ones where you need to use up all the numbers.

I couldn't quite follow the description of the 'game' -- it really seemed like the last thing from a game to me. A better description is it's sort of like a flashcard drill for young children to practice their addition skills. Because that's basically the whole idea: click or drag a sequence of tiles so the last number is the sum of the ones before it. Like 3+3+2=8. Whoopie. That's it. I can't see how anyone over second or third grade would play this game for more than a few minutes before being bored out of their minds.

This download is listed as 18.2Mb in size - yet the setup file is in fact 48.7 Mb. Sounds nitpicky to mention it, but when you have limited data access it makes a difference.
#justsaying.

Ikhukhu, Aaaand what's more, the link provided in the email is in fact NOT for the game, but for the download manager. Thanks a lot.

Ikhukhu, I never use the email thing either but fr the heck of it I did the email route this time to see what he is talking about. The poster did not understand or read the page he was sent to. As a gesture and because I trust GOTD I have adblock disabled on this site and he is talking about an ad on that page for the (in)famous free downloadmanager. He most likely failed to spot the link that very confusing is called "the link" in the line "Click the link to download." and he just clicked the first thing he noticed which is the ad that also very confusing has been labeled "advertising"
bad gotd

This installed ok, when I disabled my anti-virus (avast) for 10 minutes, which I have to do now with any games from this site.
However I tried the puzzle mode, and am 'puzzled' as I can not work out which tiles to group, is it a sequence, do they have to add up to some set number? A hint button would be helpful. I might try the other modes some time, but found it totally frustrating.

I guess the word "clade" (as in: "find the hidden clade!") comes from the developers? I didn't think it was an English word, but I was wrong; Oxford defines it as:
"A group of organisms believed to comprise all the evolutionary descendants of a common ancestor."
Um … right.
But I'm still guessing the developers actually meant either "code" or perhaps "glade." Any thoughts on that, Stephen? "Code" seems unlikely to me, because there doesn't seem (?) to be a bunch of numbers left at the end of a level that will "unlock" anything; and the flowery design of the game makes me think the reward at the end is likely to be a Nice Picture :), possibly of a glade?
Anyway I was just wondering because the word "clade" in the headline above originally had me baffled!

Installed and played well on W10 pro 64bit.
It could be a great maths game but
it could use better instructions with the power ups and what you're actually trying to do in the level. eg complete a sequence with 6 in it or is it use a sequence that adds up to six? Collect a certain number of jewels or do something that makes the jewels appear or ?
(Also the jewels are hard to catch. )
I was left confused with what to do.

I remember this game when it was offered years ago and was glad to see it again. You have to match the numbers to make a sum eg 1113 easy to learn but is challenging at the same time. The one thing that would make it better would be to make it fit my wide screen.
