Zack 2: Celestine's Map was temporarily removed from the limited giveaway that was posted four days ago, with 500 keys available for the game. The reason for the removal was because Facebook blocked the widget that enabled you to add 25 extra entries each day; thus, making it impossible to add more entries to the giveaway.

I received an email from Alexa who said the game will be renewed tomorrow.

Whether you're previous entries will count, I do not know?

Game play:
Nightmares is a 3D ( more like an isometric) shooter with cartoon like graphics. The aim of the game is to destroy all enemies and survive for as long as you can. This game definitely requires some tactics to survive as you end up with a lot of enemies chasing you and coming from all corners of the level, which is a room like environment where you are as tiny as a mouse, so everything in the room looks gigantic. Some enemies even come from a Tom and Jerry like mouse hole in the skirting board of the room you are in. Enemies sap your energy by touching you. I rarely survived more than a few moments during the time I played this game.

I don't know whether there are different levels with different challenges included with this game; if there are, the first is pretty challenging right from the outset? You need to hit each of the smaller enemies four or five times and even more if you get larger enemies to despatch. By the time you've managed to kill the first several you'll find double the number on your tail. They come from three or four different directions. The trick is not to get cornered and to keep moving; you can move faster by using the shift key in combination with your movement keys that are accomplished using the WASD or the arrow keys. Shoot your enemies using the left mouse button to fire and to aim using your mouse's X and Y axis. Your health is recorded via a health bar in the bottom left of the screen. Every time an enemy touches you, health is drained from you. A record of your highest's kill score is kept on the main menu page. You score 10 points for each kill.

Features:

original game plot (оригинальный сюжет игры)
various impressive monsters (различные впечатляющие монстры)
cartoon-like 3D-graphics (мультяшная 3D-графика)
charming soundtrack (очаровательный саундтрек)

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found five hits (Antiy-AVL, BitDefender Theta, Jiangmin, MaxSecure & VBA32 - i.e all the usual ones from antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to TooMky Games home page after the game has installed and places a few shortcuts onto your desktop (these can be safely deleted once the game has been installed). These are the same antimalware engines that always seem to pop up when scanning TooMky Games and I believe them to be false positives.

I've installed many TooMky Games for the purpose of completing these reviews and have never had any issues with the games. The installation DOES NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to TooMky's home page when the game has been installed, it earns the distributor some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. You can see the results of the scan via the following link:

Whiterabbit-uk,

We've had over 200 decent indie arcade and AAA games from Epic games since they started to give free games away (mid December 2018) and that's not counting the pre- alpha version of the latest Unreal Tournament, which has been available for free for around a decade now. It has slowly developed into a decent game and well worth checking out; especially if you were a fan of the earlier versions. The last official release was 2007 when Unreal Tournament 3 was released.

Initially, Epic gave one game every two weeks, then a game every week and since last year two games virtually every week . This week until Thursday 26th August at 4pm UK time/ 11am Eastern time you can add two more games to your Epic library. The first one has a word that isn't suitable for family sites so I won't give you the full name, it's called Void B******s a revolutionary strategy-shooter that will test your wits as well as exercise your aim. The second game is an open world platformer called Yooka-Laylee. From next Thursday we will be getting another game called Automachef, a resource management puzzler where you design kitchens, program machinery and watch your genius come to life!

Battlefield V is still available free from EA Games (Origin) until 1st September, but I think you can only get it free if you subscribe to Amazon Prime via their free Amazon Prime Gaming. You'll find a link to the appropriate page HERE; you'll need to log in via your Shareware on Sale sign-in then click on the link that says '' click here to go to the giveaway page '', then you'll need to sign into your Amazon Prime Gaming account (basically the same as your Amazon Prime sign in (I think). It's part of the Twitch gaming subscription which you get free with Amazon Prime. If you are unsure how to do this you can find out via Livewire HERE. I've posted some images links to videos of game play for single player cooperative and multiplayer game play as well as a link to a review of the game over in the giveaway forums HERE

If you like WWII first person shooter, Battlefield V is actually an amazing game with respect to graphics and immersion. I was blown away by the action when I first booted up the single player campaign last year. I've posted some images and a link to a review of the game over in the forums HERE.

More games have been added to the Indie Gala showcase section HERE; (e.g. the latest additions include:
Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards
Leisure Suit Larry 2 Looking For Love (In Several Wrong Places)
The Mims Beginning
Web Spice
Cat Defense
Return to Mysterious Island 2
Still Life 2)

Quick "easy" questions: does this game use a mouse or multiple keys for actions? Can a touch pad be used for actions?

Was the Zack 2: Celestine's Map removed? Can't find it anywhere

Paulo Monteiro,

Hi Paulo, There were at least 4 days left to run on the limited giveaway yesterday afternoon, so I don't know what's happened?

I'm hoping one of the owners will shed some light on why it's gone? I've never come across this issue before in the almost 15 years this site has been running, apart from the very first Steam key giveaway on the 23rd April 2016 when a game called Amigdala was given away. when it was discovered some community members were getting multiple keys (and I'm not talking just a few extra), then reselling them on Steam key reseller sites; so the giveaway was cancelled half way through and I believe all the keys that had been given away already were made unredeemable. The review I posted last week is still in the Admin panel comments, but when I click on the link to the actual giveaway it throws up a 404 now.

Hopefully everything will return once Alexa has read my email. :)

Regards W.R.

Paulo Monteiro,

Hi Paulo, I received a reply from the administrator who posted the game. She said the following:

''Facebook blocked our widget.
The competition will be renewed tomorrow.''

The isometric view and shooting play remind of of the Neo Geo hit Viewpoint and also the popular game Zaxxon.
