I really like the game. Time management isn't my favorite genre of game but this game has been alot of fun to play. I am running Windows 10 and the game installed just fine. I had no issues at all. My virus software is BitDefender ; it has never interfered with any software game or otherwise on our computers. Back to the game, I did run into a small issue in gameplay around level 9 where you have some ghost fox type thief characters mining as your working. I had just continued to do as per the quest instructions to build the structures and didn't realize I didn't have the 200 gold to get my person out of the cave because I didn't have enough money and could not see why. My husband came in and replayed the level and explained the fox thieves dropped bags of gold. Duh- should have better attention to the instructions. Thank you for the game and all you do for us WhiteRabbit. I plan to finish the level on easy and then play it again on expert.

HI,
It looks like typical build and move along game. This one is faster than most, so would recommend for
young ones. The graphics are good. Story is known and run of the mill. So far and I played quite a bit, there is nothing new to make it really good, but I still liked it.
Thank you for another good game and have a good week,
Lee

Win10 64bit Home. I love these types of games. It did start of slow and then I worked out you needed to read everything they say. Played about 10 levels and everything loaded great. Thank you for this game.

The system requirements include XP. However, when installed on an XP SP3 system. It runs as slow as molasses in January. It is impossible to finish even the first level above third place. I ran the Christmas special version that was given away a few years ago, and it ran just fine. This one does not.

I'm enjoying the game. I seldom comment on games given away here because it takes a long time to find out I like a game enough to keep playing it. If you had a feedback page that stayed active for longer than the time the game is available for download, I'd contribute more feedback.

I played all three of this game series some time ago, and thoroughly enjoyed them -- my favourite TM sub-genre of quest-type game, where you don't get timed-out, and you can go back and replay any level for a better score if you want; though there's no reward for getting all-gold except for pride.
I did appreciate the humour-- even more so when our hero's sassy wife joins him and keeps him in line (in New Yankee #2, I think), and didn't encounter any glitches in the MyPlayCity downloads.
Time for me to replay this series! Thanks for the reminder.
Good luck to your son this week, Whiterabbit: you can both collapse in relief next weekend :-)

Installed ok on win7 64bit.
The graphics are enough for this type of game, must is a bit repetitive I could see myself turning it off. (could use some variation in music I think). I've played to level 14 so far I think by the time you get to this point you're familiar with the play style. Perhaps instead of a 1-40 level per level you might choose a point where you're player is told that they need to find the right path forward. Then there might be a split 2x or 3x directions to go have 4 or 5 levels in each path and be told there is no way forward if the wrong path was chosen etc. Give some variation.
Then I'd like to see levels where it is not possible to clear all paths so you have to look at say how much wood your going to need then pick the right bridge to repair to get to the next area of forest... So if you choose the wrong bridge to repair first you have to redo the level. Perhaps even have to chose which bridge to repair and in one area rescue the "lost maiden" or the "magic wand". Then based upon that choice maybe the next level is a little different the "lost maiden" gets you past something, or the wand is used to blast open a path... Give it a more rpg type feel where your accomplishment in a level modifies what you can do in a later level...
Just some ideas...

A nice little game to pass a few minutes with over a tea break - possibly not one you'd play for hours, but so far quite manageable. I'm not really organised enough myself to bother much with Time Management games, but this one seems easy and fun. And since I don't want games that tie you to your keyboard for hours or even weeks at a time, I think I'll keep it for a while, anyway.
Mind you . . . I might need to get some skin cream. That armour doesn't half chafe the back of your neck.

Ok Windows 10 x64 Pro. Usual sliders, decent screen size. Just did the first level which is short tutorial, wizard offers standards tip. Not a big fan of TM, resource collection but NY has a fast play style, big icons for wood, stone, etc. AND a cute whimsy attitude. Sort of Brit sense of humor seen in intro. I'll keep it and lightly play a few to see if worth the whole trip. Prob give a quick 8.25/10 just for ease of play and game mechanics. Thanks GOTD.

Downloaded and installed without problems, Win7/64.
It's a good, straight-ahead, pretty predictable time management game, at least through the first few levels. We'll see if it develops to be more interesting. But it's engaging and fun, so I'll keep it and play for a while. My suggestion for the devs is for more "pop" to the graphics; higher contrast and saturation in the colors. Would make for a more visually interesting experience, with less eye strain.
It's a keeper for me. Thanks to GGOTD, MPC, and Whiterabbit.

I ran into a bug on level 4 where it didn't record a finished house as being completed and so I couldn't finish the level.

Michael Summerset, Did you maybe miss upgrading the house? That detail snagged me a couple of times :-)

Hi, I can't install it... well, everytime I click on the zip file, it opens up the permission window (WIN 10 64bit), then the GGOTD window that asks for the Software informer installation, like the whole install was good. The game is nowhere to be found and Avast is not the problem, since it says that there are no problems with the .zip files.
Do you have any suggestions? It looks like a very nice game and I would have loved to try it :(
Thanks ^^

Downloaded and installed to on windows 10. I have really enjoyed playing the first few levels and it definitely is staying on my computer. The game play is good and the sound and the graphics. It is a good time management game. Thank you MPC for the game today .

I LOVE THIS GAME!
First off, installs and runs fine on the nightmare called Win10 64 bit.
It’s one of the better TM games with a bit of a different story to it, one I found amusing, honestly. The graphics are good and it’s a high quality. I do have to say, though, that the one part calling the king a ‘strutting turkey cock’ (that’s in the version I bought, not sure if it changed in this version) gave me several juvenile chuckles :D I admit it! It’s rather fast paced and lots to keep you busy. It’s varied enough to keep you interested as well.
Pros: It’s harder than most if you get distracted. In fact, I’ve never hit gold on all the levels, something very odd when it comes to me since I’ve played so many of these. The story is fresh with funny characters. I generally don’t pay much attention to the story, but I do like this one. It’s also the sort you can lose hours playing without realizing it. The music and noises aren’t annoying like so many.
The cons: the last few levels are a downer. It feels like they left it hanging with no resolution at all. I was all :: Blink :: that’s all it was? A better tie-up to it would be much better. Give us some resolution. And it’s not long enough :P MOAR, as they say.
Overall, A huge thumbs up from me with the request of more in this series please!
