It was released on Steam just over a year ago, but has only received one review so far, that basically says ok, but more of the same. We got the first one here i.e. Mystery Solitaire: Grimm's Tales two years ago , where it received a positive 82%.

These Solitaire games all play in much the same way, but they all have different backgrounds and music. I've had a number of different varieties, and lost a few when updating the computer, but I hadn't seen this one before. So far I haven't come across any real "story", but then I haven't got very far yet, so perhaps something will happen at the end of the level. But at the moment I can say that the download was smooth and speedy, and there were no problems in installing and setting up, so I'm pleased with it at the moment - thanks again to all concerned, especially of course to Whiterabbit, who gives so much time and effort to testing and reporting on everything we are offered here.

I had already gotten this game on my own last year and love it! It's another excellent solitaire game that installs easily, has beautiful graphics and smooth play without any errors. I enjoy it for relaxing.

My Win XP PC Specifications :
Windows XP Pro 32bit , Intel Core2Duo E8500 3,16Ghz ,
4 Gb memory (DDR 2) , NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 768Mb .

Info box - System Requirements : Windows 7/ 8/ 10 (NOT Windows XP) .
Installed under Windows XP .
The shortcut created by the setup.exe leads to "MysterySolitaireGrimmsTales2.exe" .
When used , gives the error "MysterySolitaireGrimmsTales2.exe is not a valid Win32 application" .
On the other hand , when "Game.exe" , (from inside the installation folder) , is double clicked ,
the game works just fine ... !!! ???
I am NOT complaining , just saying ...
Yet another mystery that I don't have the energy (nor care) to investigate .
Frankly , I don't care why the game works .
If the game works under Windows XP , all it's fine ... :-)
About the gameplay ...
The game plays and feels just like the previous games of the series .
As Frédéric Dectot said , nice music and cute pictures .
Personally , I like it .
A very good way to relax for a few minutes , or hours ... :-)
It's a pretty addictive game .

JEDIGEG, I always change my shortcut to go to game.exe for every game I get, as soon as I install it and before I play for the first time. That step solves a lot of problems for me.

If the game works , I don't bother to change the shortcut .
If it's not working , changing the shortcut to point at "Game.exe" ,
is my first step to solve the problem .

A few times in the past , I had to change the shortcut to point at
"Name_Of_The_Game.exe" , in order for the game to work .
But this happens rarely ...

The home page link, links to a Mac version. I don't find this game in their PC games. Installation and activation was successful. Opening the game I get a full screen of ToomkyGames that plays music and never goes away, not even after hitting escape key. I hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and the game screen showed up on toolbar. I opened that, and mouse nor arrow keys function...

Why does Chrome give me the message This file can't be downloaded securely when I try to download the game?

Misty, I get that message too from safe sites since the latest update. I just click 'Keep' or 'Ignore' & download it. I've had no problems.

Misty, lately I get that for most files and I select "Keep anyway" or some similar message. I have never had any problem, but I do get that message from Chrome on good files.

Another patience game from Toomkygames with the same gameplay.
A new theme, a nice music and cute pictures make a good game like to "Detective Solitaire - Inspector Magic" or "Mystery Solitaire - Arkham's Spirits" for instance.
Great game if you are looking for a game helping to relax yourself.
