In Brief

My Farm Life 2 is a farm management game with 50 levels and three modes of game play, two of which are locked initially. We were given the first in the series on the 25th May 19 where it received an 88% positive rating, though this was based on only 17 votes, so isn't significant.

Unfortunately I'm unable to post a full review today partly because when I tried to boot up the game I received an access violation message and don't have enough time to fix the issue as I promised to post a review of the limited giveaway (ADM2) and my daughter has a very important exam tomorrow morning and requires help and support with her revision.

I've never been much for time management games, but this has an option to play relaxed after you complete the first five levels. I have two problems with this game, however. The biggest problem is that although it says it is saving your progress when you EXIT, IT DOESN'T; makes the game kinda useless. I'd like to see an option, in this game, to be able to Turn Off the Tutorial. You get it after a couple levels and the tutorial just gets plain annoying after that.
If this game would save my progress I'd really like this game.

If it helps to put anyone's mind at rest, it seems to run OK in the win7 32 bit VM where I unpack these games, prior to putting them on my wife's PC & laptop. It did however show a warning message that the 4 GB RAM I had allocated for that VM may not be enough for smooth animation during game play. As a reminder, I always run the compatibility troubleshooter with these games in win10, & have only had one game from GOTD over the years that refused to run in win10.
