An easy, logical, nerve-calming game.

A bright and colorful puzzle on the theme of modern motorcycles. The game is very simple, as it is created for your rest and does not require special attention. There are 10 levels in the game, where each level consists of 16 elements that need to be rotated in the right direction and dragged into place. At the beginning of the level, you see the image for 5 seconds, and then it disappears. In this version of the game, the help button has been removed, as it was in previous games, since the levels are very simple. The game will help you relax and have fun. Motorcycles Puzzle:

Motorcycle-Puzzle-002
In Brief:
Motorcycles puzzle is another puzzle from GameRea (via Falcoware Games), who has previously given us several jigsaw puzzles for example: Future Puzzle (15th March 22) , Flea Market, Fantastic Heroes Puzzle, Old Paintings, Grim Puzzles, Street Art Puzzles, Fantastic Puzzles 2021, Terrible Puzzles, Old Canvases 1, 2 & 3 and Winter Moods, as well as other games such as the swap tile puzzles Planet of the Fat Men, Quick Tiles and Quick Puzzles. Todays puzzle is one of the smaller variety with only sixteen puzzle pieces on a 4x4 grid to each of the ten puzzles.
You can see a video of game play HERE.

The Game:
Motorcycles Puzzle is a 16 piece square puzzle with ten motorcycle images to solve. When you start the game you see a brief GameRea splash screen then the main menu. From here you can select 'Control' to see what the various button symbols represent; i.e. the Left Mouse Button allows you to drag and drop each puzzle piece, the Right Mouse Button rotates the pieces clockwise. There is no level selection screen like in previous GameRea puzzles, instead you get a left and right arrow button with ten incicators. The image showing is in Green, the rest are red. To move on to the next image click on either of the arrows.

When you decide which image you want to solve, click on the 'Select this Level button located just above the level selection indicator. When this appears you'll see a brief completed image of the bike with eight puzzle pieces located neatly in a 2 x 4 grid on both sides of the image. After 4 or 5 seconds the image disappears and you are left with an empty 4 x 4 grid. Rearrange the surrounding 16 pieces to complete the puzzle. When completed you'll receive a Victory message over the image. After several seconds the next image in line will appear , when you arrive at the last image (i.e. the Honda CMX 250 Rebel ) pressing the right arrow button will take you back to the first image. To return to the main menu, press the Esc key.

Along the bottom of the puzzle grid are four buttons with a timer in the middle. The first two buttons toggle the sound on and off, the third button restarts the puzzles timer from the beginning; when this is done, all the pieces of the puzzle return to their original positions, but are oriented differently. The fourth button advances to the next puzzle until you get to the tenth, where it then takes you back to the first image.

When placing pieces in the correct position they are not locked like previous jigsaw puzzles we've received from a different developer. Also, if you place a piece wrongly it does not jump back to the periphery like some of the BD Games puzzles we've had previously, you have to put them back manually.

Conclusion:
Although each jigsaw puzzle is relatively short there are 10 puzzles to complete. With only 10 images to solve it shouldn't take an adult more than 15 to 20 minutes to solve the whole lot, especially if you are familiar with some of the bike models; making it an ideal coffee break puzzle, though in my opinion it's not worth the $5 asking price. As I'm mentioned previously all of the various GameRea puzzles should be combined, then it would be worth the $5. That said as we are getting this free today, the suggestion is moot.

It would have been nice to have each of the motorcycle images labelled with the make and model. I recognised a few (e.g. the Suzuki GSX -R750, Honda CMX 250 Rebel (the 250 lacks the bigger models water cooler), Honda CBR 1000RR, BMW trials, and the Ducati sport Desno 500. I would also have liked to have seen some of the classic bikes like the Norton Commando, BSA B50, Triumph Trident; (I used to own a Triumph Tiger 500cc, the single carb' sister to the Bonneville until it was stolen), or the American Indian Scout and not forgetting the Harley-Davidson (my son has the small softail standard Harley).

The very first jigsaw puzzle we were given back in February 2018 was called The Infinite Jigsaw puzzle, which had an amazing amount of configurability, suchnas the ability to change the shape of the puzzle pieces, change the size of the puzzle from a 24 to a 1024 piece puzzle as well as the ability to upload any image you had. You can see that giveaway HERE. A couple of the community suggested other free jigsaw puzzles that also have the ability to upload your own images and select different shapes and sizes e.g. Astra Gift Maker HERE, and from the same site BigJig HERE and Lena Games for a selection of other jigsaws HERE. You can also do a free daily jigsaw curtesy of Shockwave HERE
There's also commercial versions that are very configurable for example Jigsaws Galore HERE and BrainsBreaker HERE. you'll almost certainly be able to find lots more free and commercial jigsaws just by Googling. :)

If you are stuck for images to upload to the above free jigsaw games (which I doubt), there are a plethora of sites that offer free images; one of my favorites that I've visited often is called Digital Blasphemy, where you can download free versions of commercial images that are ideal for the above free and commercial jigsaw puzzles. You can find Digital Blasphemy HERE.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found 4 hits (VBA32, Jiangmin, McAfee & McAfee-GW-Edition) from 60 antimalware engines. These fourare amongst only several antimalware suites that often tag Falcoware Games compared to most better known and more reliable antimalware engines; so, it's very likely to be a false positive.

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed).

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer over a year ago (that installer would show an advert for a game and then open your browser each time you played and then closed the game down.)

You can see the results of the scan via the following link:

Whiterabbit-uk,

Other Free Games:
For other free games, please check Delenn's threads over in the giveaway forums HERE (non-Steam games) and HERE (Steam games) for the latest freebies It's kept up to date frequently, whenever a free game becomes available, (thanks for keeping this up to date Delenn, very much appreciated).

Also, for the latest Steam sales check THIS Steam database site out. You can list the games in 'price' & 'percentage off' order by clicking the headers. If you link SteamDB (the Steam database) with your Steam account, all games that you already have will be highlighted in green and those in blue are on your wish list. When there are Steam games being given away, you'll see the percentage off as 100%. It's worth checking this regularly to make sure you don't miss the best deals and freebies. Delenn usually posts links to all free games within several hours of them going live, so check her links in the first paragraph above.
Don't forget to check Indie Gala's freebie section HERE, then click on the Showcase header, selecting freebies from the drop down menu; the most recent additions include:
1) ... The Last Enchantress: Revival, (choice-based fantasy game, contains adult themes and NOT suitable for children.)

2) ... Vroom Racing (NEW ... Drive a Formula 1 car upon 18 worldwide tracks : Reach 380 Km/h and beat the ghost !)

3) ... Avani: The Primal Land (Explore, gather, learn, craft and build. Fight, hunt and tame wild animals. Includes a unique crafting system combined with a huge skill tree and an intuitive building system mixed with traditional survival game elements.)

4) ... Cov Shooter (Try to survive as many waves as possible, upgrade your stats and weapons to do that.)

5) ... WTC : Relentless Protagonist [Sxs}, (a short mostly KINETIC comedy/drama visual novel.)

6) ... Out of Puberty: Chapter 1 (graphic novel, contains adult themes and NOT suitable for children.)

7) ... Neon Invasion Earth, (space invaders.)

8) ... WTC : Recruitment Day (a short mostly KINETIC comedy/drama visual novel.)

9) ... Trainpunk Run (ReRUN ... “fly and shoot” in a steampunk environment.)

10) ... Welcome To... Chichester OVN 3 : The Mysterious Affair At The Violet Hotel (Interactive novel.)

11) ... Last Dream (NEW ... a sprawling RPG maker like game)

12) ... Little Kite (ReRUN ... a point-and-click story driven adventure.)

If you don't see a title in the freebie section, go back to the Showcase grid display. All or most new freebies should be on the first page. We have been given over 340 games since I started to check the freebie section several years ago. But around 60% of those are no longer available free. The following recent freebies have now been removed from the free library: Pixel Puzzles 2: Paintings , Hamsterdam, Copperbell, Chainsaw Warrior, Leisure Suit Larry 2 Looking For Love (In Several Wrong Places), Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards , Figment, Pixel Puzzles 2: Space, Revolution Ace, Six Sides of the World, Byte Family, Alone on Mars, Garfield Kart, Nostradamus the Last Prophecy, Snowball, Pixel Puzzles 2: Christmas , Die Young (Full version), Distortions, Dino Run DX, Cheap Golf, Kill Em All, Dead Hungry Diner, and Contract with the Devil.

Any game you claim while it's being offered is DRM free and will remain in your Indie Gala library and can be downloaded at any time, under the showcase or freebie section. All available freebies can be found in the showcase section (115 games are still available). Not all games that go into the showcase remain free and are removed after a short period (e.g. the recent adventure puzzler Figment that costs almost £15 on Steam); so, you should grab them as quickly as you can. To find your games go to your account and from the drop down menu select 'My Library'. When the page opens find the 'Showcase' button in the banner along the top of the page and, from the drop down menu select 'Showcase'. There are only 8 games per page, so, if like me you have added hundreds to your account/library. Each page from your free list can take 30 or more seconds to move to the next page; so, if like me you've added most of the free games over the last several years, it can take 20 to 30 minutes to get to the last page. I have just over 340 games in my free section. i.e. 42 pages to scroll through to find my games. (my last page contains Home is where chip is, Agelvik, Siluman Soft, Super Destronaut, Galactic Missile Defense.

The latest Epic Game ends later today at 4pm UK/11am Eastern The game is called Cities Skyline, which has previously been given away. If you missed it last time, this will be an opportunity to grab one of the best city builders around; sadly we don't get any of the 37 DLC's apart from a few free ones (Carols, Candles and Candy, Match Day and Pearls from the East). You'll find those by scrolling down to the 'See More' button. This opens up a grid of all the skyline DLC's. You'll find all three free DLC's among the paid for ones. Click on the three and add them to your account. Once added you'll see the add button change to 'In Library'.

Also available free via Epic is the recently released Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude (Experience the mysterious events leading into Tango Gameworks’ highly anticipated action-adventure game, Ghostwire: Tokyo! In the Prelude version, join the mysterious KK and his gang of supernatural detectives as they investigate an unusual disappearance, only to stumble upon something even more sinister. Build relationships with your team and piece together their stories in this visual novel adventure before taking to the streets of Ghostwire: Tokyo, releasing March 25).

Later today i.e. 4pm UK/12 noon Eastern) we get In Sound Mind - (an imaginative first-person psychological horror with frenetic puzzles, unique boss fights, and original music by The Living Tombstone. Journey within the inner workings of the one place you can’t seem to escape—your own mind.)
The best Indie Bundles sites that have been operating from around 2010 are the Humble Bundle and Indie Gala sites (though the latter isn't as good as it used to be) where you'll sometimes find decent bundles with over 90% off the usual price of the games included in the bundles. The Humble site is in my opinion the best; though a more recent addition that is worth checking out called Fanatical games looks to be a serious contender for that title as they have some very good bundles. You can find Fanatical games (that used to be called Bundle Stars) HERE.

I've restarted a project I originally started back in 2008 that used to be called Good Games to Grab, where I posted free games over in the forums on a daily basis; however, I won't be posting them daily this time, only as and when I have time and the inclination. You can find the new forum section entitled 'Free Game Project' HERE. So far, I've posted eight excellent PC games, plus one android game as well as suggested or linked to others similar to the ones posted. I'll be adding more as and when I have the time or the mood takes me over the coming months.

Black And White Apocalypse that was given away mid January (HERE) by the developer Hammergames is always free via Itch.io and can also be downloaded as a colour version. You can find both versions via the following links Black & White version, and Coloured version. :) Hammergames also offer other games they have created free HERE. Some of them look like they are worth investigating. :)

The latest Humble Choice bundle went live Tue 1st March; it includes seven Steam games and one Origin game. Desperados III, Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Origin), Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, Red Solstice 2: Survivors, Nebuchadnezzar, Police Stories and Evan's Remains. Subscriptions to the Choice bundle have recently been changed, levelling the ground for all subscribers. The monthly cost is a meagre $12/£8.99 with other benefits such as access to a lot of indie titles for free while subscribed and a percentage off other purchases from the Humble store. This increases the longer you keep subscribed up to a year with 20% off all none bundle purchases. (1 month sub' gives 10% off, 3 months sub' gives 15% off and six months sub 'gives 17% off). The next Humble Choice bundle goes live Tuesday 5th April 22.

The latest Humble Bundles are

1) ... Humble Heroines that includes seven games i.e. Scarlet Nexux, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Severed Steel, Gears 5, Celeste, Cloudpunk and Tacoma; (ends 23rd March )

2) ... Best of Boomer Shooters Bundle that includes eight excellent Doom like games i.e Hedon Bloodrite, Project Warlock, DUSK, AMID EVIL, Ion Fury, Dread Templar, HROT, Hellbound; plus, discount coupons for & ULTRAKILL (ends 25th March).

3) ... The Ultimate Racing Sim Bundle that includes Assetto Corsa Competizione, DRIFT 21, Automobilista 2, iRacing (3-month Subscription New Memberships Only), Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition, rFactor 2, NASCAR Heat 5 Ultimate Edition, Automobilista; plus, discount coupons for a couple of steering wheel controllers i.e. Thrustmaster T248 and Thrustmaster T150 - the coupons are only redeemable in the US while supplies last! (ends 30th March )

If you have a Steam account and like to collect soon to be removed games, you'll find Gods Remastered a classic platformer from the early 90's that includes both the original and the remastered is being removed from Steam on the 27th March due to licencing issues. It's on sale with 90% off HERE.

Also being removed from Steam on the 21st March is Knockout Checkers Chamber which can be found HERE (unfortunately there is no discount at the time of posting). The reason for removal was that the developer decided to delete the game from the Steam store because of a new company policy. If you've purchased any game that is later removed from the steam store, you will always be able to access it via your Steam library despite it no longer being available via Steam.

If you have Amazon Prime you also get access to a new set of free games every month. The March freebies include an Origin code for 'Madden NFL 22', and 'Surviving Mars' on Epic Games (this has been given away twice via Epic a few years ago on the 10th October 2019 together with a couple of the DLC and again on the 11th March last year; if you missed it both times here's your chance to finally grab the base game). There are also some downloadable games and a whole bunch of in game content for lots of big name games like League of Legends, GTA V, Red Dead Online, Dead by Daylight, Destiny 2, Battlefield 2042 and loads more. Visit Prime Gaming for details.

Stay safe everyone.
