Edited...... continued Friday evening....
I was going to post some images, but my wife was rushed to hospital earlier today after collapsing at work, She's okay now, but I've too much still to catch up on and have a lot on my mind, so won't be posting any reviews this weekend.
In fact, I still need a break from regular posting. As some of you know I've been doing this since Feb 2008 when the admin gave me moderator status and prior to that I generally posted my thoughts on each game given away ever since the site opened back in December 2006. It's very rare that I take a break (usually when we go on vacation, but we've not been away since 2018, so feel I need this break at this time. That's not to say I will completely stop; instead I'll concentrate on games I enjoy playing, at least for a few more weeks.; then we shall see how I feel.#
I will continue to moderate each day.
Thankfully Jason and Data Dragon have usually stepped into the breach and have posted some excellent reviews of games recently. We're all volunteers.

anna wanna,
Thank you Anna, this has been steadily getting worse since her brain haemorrhage back in 2017. We've been trying to get referrals to a neurologist for over a year now. She has an appointment in July. Crazy waiting times.

Mosaics Galore is a digital puzzle game where each puzzle image is made up from many fragmented pieces. You will get a handful of already placed pieces on each picture, and it's up to you to complete the rest until you restore a full image with 120 different colored puzzles to solve. This is done by taking a piece off the right side ribbon and dropping it within the picture where you believe it should be placed in the right spot. In first levels it seems really easy of course with just a few missing pieces and is a good game for all skill levels, but when you get to more complicated paintings it becomes harder since much more of the image is missing and pieces are not always clear yet where they may go. If you are unable to find where any piece goes, you get a free hint to show where to place a piece, and this hint button regenerates in time (a blue ring is around the hint to show you how long) but you can also spend gold to regenerate the hint immediately or add time to the timer when low if you wish to try to complete the puzzle within the time limit to get that additional key. You can earn up to 3 keys per level by fully assembling the fragmented picture, completing the level without a mistake by placing the fragment in the wrong location, and completing the task within a specific time limit and levels can be replayed. The game doesn't otherwise give you a penalty or make you feel bad if you do make a mistake or take a long time to complete it and you can always go back to play any puzzle you've already completed if you feel like re-attempting or want all the keys.
This game does not have a relaxed mode per se this time but it is possible to ignore the timer and just play earning 1 or 2 keys (if no mistake) as I did and try to do it without using hints. Since any level can be replayed its always possible to get more gold even if you've already played the level before, and therefore have money for the timer or even more hints in another level so dont worry too much if you dont like the timer.
I enjoyed the gameplay more than I thought I would, but it's not as simple as it sounds like a jigsaw puzzle. You have a time limit and only some of the missing pieces you can grab are showing, which means that you will need to place one of the pieces for the next piece to show up and take its place. In a normal jigsaw puzzle you would have access to all pieces. Hopefully the pieces are not totally random as this can lead to issues where its not obvious where any piece might go without using a hint. Further, the digital pieces that you can currently select are not shown full size until you select one so its unfortunately not easy to judge where a piece might fit unless you select it sometimes on later levels. There is plenty of challenge with lots of help for those that need it, lots of gameplay, and a good game to consider for all ages with a very low cost. Rating: C+
Suggestions:
Show the completed image full screen for 5 seconds prior to a new level start since many later levels have few pieces shown in place. Hint: At the end of each level when it shows your score for the level, click the three lined icon on the bottom left to see the levels (which show small versions of the completed image) instead of clicking the right arrow to go to the next level.
Add a relaxed mode as there is plenty of challenge here especially on later levels to find the right placement for pieces without needing to be timed which can be stressful/less fun to some who want a casual experience. Emphasize high score using how long it took to do the puzzle in that mode.
Pieces that are not placed correctly should have some highlight to them
Allow up/down scrolling of all pieces in the ribbon in timed mode if pieces are always random, or allow a piece to be marked to be placed without causing an mistake and key loss, or somewhere to place a piece in temporary storage without causing a mistake and key loss or needing to use a hint.
Allow showing of full size of puzzle piece when hover mouse over it rather than click it to see.
Add a hint to see the full completed image again for a few seconds once per level.
In game there is a small icon that looks like a bow in the upper right that returns to the main menu. This might be made more obvious.

This is basically a duplicate of "Alice's Patchwork" that was given away last week on Jan 29th. The story/setting is different, the mosaics are different, the layout a bit modifide but gameplay is exactly the same. Bottom line, if you liked that you will like this.
If you missed that one, you can check out the reviews here:

Installed fine on Win10HomeX64. Oddly, the first 2 launches opened to a black screen that I had to close with Task Manager but since then all seems okay. No idea why.
Many thanks to the teams both here and at Toomky!

jboy, I would love to see the day where major casual game developers offer downloadable content for some games like this as opposed to having a different EXE to develop a whole new game altogether. It would allow users to change the themes of the program and switch to a different puzzle set on the fly.
Major AAA game developers have gotten this right, and I've seen very few games where what could be considered downloadable content was turned into a commercial stand alone mini game.

sailorbear510 aka Jason,
For sure, that would be ideal!

If all of you played Alice's Patch work a week or two ago you will love this game with the different variety of puzzles that are in here. Just remember that the game starts you off easy and gets harder as you have to use the edge of the puzzle board in order to complete the puzzle.
Being more accurate in the game produces a better level outcome and allows for unlocking more worlds within the game to assemble their puzzles.
Per my comment on Alice's Patchwork you won't be working with the center of the puzzle right away on many puzzles you will be working on the edge of the puzzle. Don't let the tutorial confuse you into the ease of solving the puzzle :)
If you don't do well that's OK you can go back to the level again for a better score should you have a good enough memory to know what the puzzle looks like.
A note on this game - Some achievements seem unrealistic - some ones with 30 seconds etc. Unless you can think really smart and place those puzzle pieces like mad and solve the puzzle.
