The Monster In The Dark is designed to provide a single-player horror experience. You must manage to escape from the monster, using your inner senses, running away from the monster, intuitively feeding to find a way out, you must become a player who must cope with this situation, using a three-dimensional field using in yourself to develop intuition and thinking and orientation. determine the sides of the horizon, determine your location relative to the sides of the horizon. Moreover, you do not need to run away only ... You can also hunt him. This is the heartbeat from colliding with a monster after a step.
Escape or Hunt!
As a Survivor, you have two options
1. Lure a monster so that it loses its orientation.
2. Or find a way out of the forest.
Single player game

Look for houses, try to hide in order to deceive the Monster that is catching up with you!

In Brief:
The introduction given above describes exactly what this game is about i.e. escape the forest by running and attempting to disorient the monster chasing you. Through running around the forest (in the hope of finding an exit) , you'll get to explore the featureless forest.

If you've ever watched the Blair Witch Project, then you'll 'get' this game. It's been out on Steam since 22 Mar, 2021 with no user reviews posted yet. The game doesn't support the English language. Only Russian.

I'll post some images later once I've had chance to explore the game thoroughly. You can see a video of game play via the Steam store HERE.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 61 antimalware engines.

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that only opens your browser once to Falcoware's home page after the game has installed and also places four shortcuts onto your desktop (which can be safely deleted once the game has installed).

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away for free. Once you've installed the game, there are no more browser redirections. This is because Falcoware removed their installer almost two years ago (that installer would show an advert for a game while the game was loading (whivch always took aboiut 20 seconds to ensure you'd seen the advert) . It would also always open your browser each time you closed the game after playing it.)
If you're still not convinced of the games efficacy and want to be absolutely sure that the game is safe to install, please use a sandbox program first, to check that the game is safe to install before installing it to your C drive or other drives on your computer (assuming you have more than one drive).

There are free sandbox programs such as Sanboxie, GeSWall, BitBox, Windows Sandbox, Bufferzone (a six month commercial license was given away via the applications side of the project back in December 2009 HERE), Shadowzone, as well as others. (You'll find them all on the same page from Techwhoop.

Steam Games:
Black Desert a massive multiplayer online RPG with an online coop mode plus one DLC pack is presently free on Steam HERE until April 13th. Next week (14th April at 4pm UK/11am Eastern) we will be getting Insurmountable - an adventure roguelike with permadeath, in which the player has to overcome huge mountains. Indie Bundles:
The best Indie Bundles sites that have been operating from around 2010 are the Humble Bundle and Indie Gala sites (though the latter isn't as good as it used to be, with most of the bundles containing cheap stocking fillers and a lot of 'adult only 'hentai like ' games). Free Game Project:
I've restarted a project I originally started back in 2008 that used to be called Good Games to Grab, where I posted free games over in the forums on a daily basis; however, I won't be posting them daily this time, only as and when I have time and the inclination. Amazon Prime Gaming:

The April freebies include the fantastic The Elder Scrolls Oblivion from GOG (You can find loads of mods, addons and other related files over on Nexus mods HERE. From Origin you get the 3D version of Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neigbourville (I'm really pleased to see this one; I was intending to buy it in the next Steam sale as it's been on my wish list since it's release) . C'mon guys, I received info on this game as a second game in the same email as today's game. Of course Monster is already out of date. This is getting ridiculous as it's now the fourth time this has happened.
