Help the neighbors return the former glory of their lands in the absorbing time management game Moai III: Trade Mission! With the main quest and alternate levels to complete, this game offers hours upon hours of addictive gameplay. After defeating Miru, the leader of the Underworld, the Hero and Bright Light live in peace and tranquility, but soon new challenges from the nature will check the main characters’ strength. The Tapa-tui village grew rapidly and the Hero decided to trade with other villages and set out a journey to their neighbors. Their lands are devastated because of natural disasters and the main characters are to help them. Grow the crops to get a rich harvest and restore the dilapidated territories in the game Moai III: Trade Mission and all the settlers of Tikku-ana will be thankful to you. At first, cultivate the lands and complete a great variety of tasks. Acquire 70 units of food, stones and other resources to get a treasure chest. Open it and get various helpful resources! Keep in mind that you need woods and stones to build structures and repair bridges while food is necessary for people to survive. You are to repair various structures as gold mine, sawmill, forge and others to cope with the tasks and produce various goods. In the game Moai III: Trade Mission you will also complete such tasks as golden coins production and giving gifts to the Elders. Be quick to finish everything in time and get prize scores! During the level, you’ll get several bonuses, for example, speed sandals will make your settlers move faster. Unfortunately, this bonus is exhaustible; keep it for complicated situations to be a success! After finishing the levels you’ll get artifacts, keep them and soon you can equip your main characters with them and get lots of bonuses. Get the amazing achievements, for example, Tapa-tui messenger for getting acquainted with Kuhatu, the governor of Tikku-ana and others for your speed and quick wits. Boost your speed of reaction and attention in the addicting time management game Moai III: Trade Mission!

Moai III: Trade Mission downloads to a 435 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set up file and a read me). Those with multiple hard drives are able to save games on any drive they wish. The newly installed game is 434 MB in size. The game installs to the following path by default, but can be changed by the user if you prefer:

Four shortcuts are installed to the desktop. three of which can be safely deleted (Play Online Games, MyPlayCity Games and shortcuts to a free online game which vary each week). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you uncheck the box when the additional tasks window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window)

The Game:
Following the adventures from the previous two games, Hero is now the Chieftain of Tapa-tui island. Help Hero establish trade with the nearby island of Mata-fiki and bring fortune to his community!
We knew we were in for a great treat right from the start when the game started off with a great introduction. The introduction perfectly captured the main details we need to know to grasp the story in this third game – it is filled with humor and memorable characters so that you would never get bored.
Moai 3: Trade Mission also has amazing production values. Firstly, in terms of the Time Management genre, Moai 3 probably featured some of the very best graphics. The characters are smoothly animated and the environment is attractively three-dimensional. The cheery and upbeat music, along with the delightful sound effects also enhances the experience.
When it comes to gameplay, Moai 3: Trade Mission does not stray far from the traditional resource-management gameplay. In fact, we wish the developer would have taken some more risks with the gameplay. Nonetheless, Moai 3 offers an incredibly entertaining gameplay with some honestly challenging levels, two modes of gameplay that you can switch around at all time (Timed and Untimed) and helpful power-ups. One unique feature is the Artifacts; there are 24 artifacts to collect in total and each has its own power that would help with your tasks-completion, you can choose to equip a handful of them at the beginning of each level.

Moreover, the game comes with over 40 standard levels, You can replay each level as a Challenge Level once you have completed it once, the Challenge Levels are much harder and require more strategic planning. The Collector’s Edition includes extra thirteen levels, and of course, thirteen more challenge levels. Other features in bonus section are a useful strategy guide, wallpapers, achievements, collectibles, soundtracks and character’s biographies.

Other Reviews and Videos of Moai III: Trade Mission:
You can see Big Fish reviews of Moai III: Trade Mission HERE plus tips and tricks HERE. You can also see Steam community reviews HERE. There are several in-game videos of game play HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE plus several more HERE.

Moai III: Trade Mission is a well constructed game with excellent game play mechanics. As with most TM game sof this type you’ll have several tasks to complete to finish a level. Also, there’s loads of achievments available over the 40 or so levels you get with this game. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but each level can be replayed as a challenge level, so you’ll find many hours of fun playing this game. I’m not a TM game enthusiast, but i did find this one mildly entertaining compared to others of this sub genre.
After you've had an opportunity to play today's giveaway please take a few moments to give some positive or negative feedback; for example, what you liked or disliked about the game, or how it could be improved. If you don't like the genre at all, please explain why and if any, what improvements would change your mind? If you don't have time to post a comment today, please do so at your convenience, thank you. If you wish to post a review or comment about the game at a later date, you can access the comments section by going to the game giveaways home page, then scroll to the bottom of the page where it says Archives and select the date the giveaway was live (giveaway days are in bold type). This will open up the appropriate page for you to post your comment or review. Alternatively, you can google the name of the game and include Gamegiveawayoftheday in the search. This should give you a list of links to whenever this game was given away.
There are thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers new or fresh ideas as to what their consumers (i.e you) would like to see in a game. For example, you could suggest extra content such as better or more original mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see that would make it more appealing to you. Maybe you think the graphics are a little dated and are in need of re skinning, or maybe you've just had enough of the genre and want to see something different or something with more originality? Giving such feedback instead of saying nothing or just saying this game is rubbish or good may bring more developers to the site, which could mean more and better games. Would 'you' give away thousands of copies of a game (or extra content for a game) away to a community that complains all the time instead of giving useful feedback? It only needs a few moments of your time.

This site could be transformed if only the community would be more forthcoming in their opinions of the games they are getting for free instead of complaining about the way this site has changed, for example, they don't like MPC games, they hate HOG's, have had enough of Match Three and Time Management games, or they want to see the latest version of Call of Duty or some other big name AAA game given away or that they don't like Steam games. If something isn't for you then please move on to the next giveaway, or check out the forums HERE, HERE and HERE, where a few members of the community post details of various free games and free game sites as well as links to various indie bundle sites etc; you never know, you may find something that really interests you.
If you miss today's game giveaway you can always get the game via MyPlayCity 24/7 HERE; or If you prefer to purchase the game you can get it HERE via Big Fish Games or via Steam HERE (both C.E. versions), you can also get the MOAI bundle HERE which includes MOA1: Build Your Dream, MOAI:2 Path to Another World, MOAI: 3: Trade Mission Collectors Edition and MOAI: 4: Terra Incognita Collector’s Edition. It’s 33%off at the moment £15.52/$22.07. Or alternateively you can get the first four Moai games free from MyPlayCity HERE .

Problems getting the game to work:
If you're having problems installing or activating or getting Moai III: Trade Mission to work please visit the FAQ's Thread HERE and read through the communities comments because sometimes fixes have already been posted, for example, a common issue seen since the Themida wrapper was introduced three years ago is that some community members installation of the game are blocked by their security because Themida code has been known to hide malware, (usually an error message is flagged for example 'The executable is corrupted' even though in reality it is not); so as a precaution some anti malware programs will block and even delete the suspect installation files even though the files (i.e the setup, read me and setup.gcd files are actually totally free from malware. This issue can be solved either by rebooting your computer in safe mode with networking or a quicker method is to temporarily turn off your security software to allow the installation. You could also try whitelisting the setup.gcd file. In the almost 11 years this game giveaway site has been operating there has 'never' been a game given away that was infected with malware.
If for any reason you want to contact the giveaway team, for example, you have a game to offer the community, or are unable to download the latest game or other issues that the FAQ's thread or these comments don't cover or solve you can do so HERE
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank MyPlayCity for giving away Moai III: Trade Mission and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for securing other ways to get free games.
Useful Information not related to today's game giveaway:

If Moai III: Trade Mission doesn't interest you, but you still hanker for something new to play, you'll find details of some game deals whether they be sale items, indie bundles or games being given away for free HERE (I've not updated the thread in a while, but most of the links still take you to the latest deals).
The rest of the information that used to be posted in the game review can be found in the forums HERE. Finally, check out Delenns threads for details of other free games and offers HERE and eslewhere in the game discussion forums HERE, (usually on the first page of the game discussion forums).

The latest Origin giveaway is Plants vs. Zombies Game of the Year Edition. which you can find HERE. If you love Tower Defense, or arcade games in general, this is a fabulous game. It's not like your typical TD game. It's easy to pick up, but hard to stop playing. A fantastic and well balanced arcade game, with brilliant game play and in my opinion one of the best of its kind. You can see a couple of game play videos HERE and HERE. You can also get a free Steam key for Sanctum 2 another unusual Tower Defense game via Failmids site HERE. You can see a couple of game play videos HERE and HERE.
Thanks to Picollo30 for the heads up on two more free games one from GOG called MDK (played this about 10 years ago with my son, a little dated now, but still a lot of fun, you'll find it HERE and Spellforce 2: Anniversary Edition (you need to install and play the games for several minutes, then it becomes yours permanantely) HERE.

This is the third of a series of five. There's also a Collector's Edition available but this appears to be the standard edition. It does appear to be the first to have a relaxed mode.

Ok Windows 10 x64 Pro. Right off it's a keeper. A 'radical' simple feature is that once a food, mill, whatever has done some output & icon pops up next to that maker, you just hover mouse or output to capture it. Small thing but first game for me where don't need to click the darn stuff. Man does that get old so fast. Is that such a hard thing to have? Sites have hover feature over tabs all the time that display their elements.
Only played a bit to be sure works & worth keeping. Tunes not bad, engaging flow a keeper. Thanks GOTD. Does beat all that clicking in recent farm game with the chickens & eggs & bears, etc. Farm Frenzy with became laborious.

I'm playing in untimed mode and enjoying the game. I would like to be able to run my cursor over a product and see what I need to build to get that product. If I don't play the game for a while, I will probably forget what I have to build to get essential oil. Plus when having to repair a site, it would be helpful to fun my cursor over that site to see what it's going to be.

Definitely enjoying this game. Thank you, DanO, for telling me!

Thank you for your feedback. One of the images I posted did tell you that there was an untimed mode. ;)

Jackie, I agree with your comment about not being able to hover the cursor over objects to get info on them. Very frustrating. It forces you to either memorize the details on each feature, or to play somewhat randomly hoping for the best.

This is a good time management game. I have played up to level 16. I like the story and the fact that there are 2 modes timed and untimed. The only thing that I didn't like is that it wasn't very clear sometimes where the path was that you had to follow. Thank you for the game today.

Downloaded and installed with no issues, Windows 7/64. This is a good, if pretty standard, time management game. The graphics and gameplay are solid and it provides a fairly good challenge. (There is also an untimed mode if you want more relaxed play.) Unlike most other TM games, there aren't bronze/silver/gold levels - you either complete the tasks before the time runs out, or you don't. I don't see that there's any reward for beating the timer. If you don't the game continues anyway until you complete the level.

So, I don't think it's exceptional, but if you like TM games it should be enjoyable. It's a keeper for me.

Thanks to GGOTD, MPC, and Whiterabbit.

Looks like a good game, although I don't play time management games as I get too stressed. The links you posted for other games at the beginning of your review was great. If I was a better gamer, I would have downloaded all of those games!

Thanks again for offering a free game--love this website!

Jackie, Thought I'd mention -- this game has an untimed mode so you can play stress-free if you like.

No, it's a Time Management game where you have to complete tasks to progress to the next level. check out some of the videos i've posted in the review I've posted above. (see comment #1)
