Installation:
Mission: Escape from Island 2 downloads to a 89.6 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set-up file and a read me). Those with multiple hard drives can save games on any drive they wish by replacing the C drive with whatever drive letter they wish the game to be installed to or If you have multiple hard drives you can save games on any drive you wish by replacing the C drive letter in the path with whatever drive letter you wish the game to be installed to. The newly installed game is 245 MB in size. The game installs to the following path by default:

Ashampoo-Snap-2018-12-19-18h17m22s-006-Mission-Escape-from-Isla
C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\ Mission: Escape from Island 2
However, if you prefer a different path for installation for example I use G:\Games\ name of game instead of 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity\name of game'. You can edit the default path when the Setup - Mission: Escape from Island 2 - Select Destination Location window appears.
Five shortcuts are installed to the desktop, four of which can be safely deleted (i.e. Falco Space - Online Game!, FalconLine Online Games Website, FalcoGo WebGL Games! and Free Games Downloads!). If you don't want to install the games shortcut to the desktop during installation, just make sure the install desktop shortcut is unchecked when the 'additional task's window appears; you will still get two of the other Falcoware shortcuts installed (i.e. FalconLine Online Games Website & FalcoGo WebGL Games shortcuts). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you also uncheck the appropriate checkbox when the 'additional task's window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window).

The Game:
We've already been given the 1st and 3rd in the series, now we get the 2nd. The game play is similar to both of the others, where you have to 'escape the island' Similar controls to the first game except when you pick an item up you use E instead of F, and no hand appears. To use an item that you've picked up such as a med kit, you press V which brings up the inventory screen, select what item you want to use by clicking on it. This then appears in a smaller box with two buttons 'use' and 'remove'. clicking on use will consume the item, clicking on remove will return it to the inventory.
Your first mission is to find some fuel for the helicopter, once accomplished you return to the helicopter only to find it has been destroyed, you then return to the camp where the fuel was found and kill any OpFor found there. Once that has been accomplished you can finally pick up a better weapon and some health. You then need to find some documents after finding the main base deserted. At this point you discover that the camp was empty due to zombies. You find the documents and need to send details to your superiors so then look for a radio station. On the way you encounter more zombies and groups of OpFor guarding the transmitter. Once you've dispatched those you can then find the transmitter and send the details of whats in the documents.

Conclusion:
I've played many First Person Shooters over the last 20 odd years, some of which are almost realistic for example the later battlefield games, Armed Assault (ArmA), Call o f Duty plus loads more. Today's game isn't much better graphically than games I was playing 20 years ago down to the textures and controls. Having been used to some fantastic titles over the years, especially the last 10 years, I cannot recommend this game. It's okay for a few minutes until you realize there's little difficulty in it even when set on the harder modes. You can shoot an OpFor at distance, even with a pistol and kill them before they even shoot back. I tried to like this despite the old graphics and the sunset at the beginning {see the third image above :)}. But, to be honest, I'll be deleting this as it has no challenges and the game play becomes very tedious quickly.

The game is 'OK'. As stated in the other comments so far, it has some very basic flaws and there are some things which would make it more bearable.

Flaws (in my opinion)...

Bullet seem to go forever. You can hit enemies from any distance and thus there is no challenge.

You can't run. Walking gets very boring, very quickly.

Picking up items requires finding the 'sweet spot' with the mouse to see the 'E to pickup' wording. Better detection of mouse over target or allow to pick up when player is within x distance whether 'E' is shown or not.

Controls are simple, but there is no way to know what they are. WASD are pretty much a given, but 'V' to open your 'Inventory' is not. Either allow the player to change the controls or at least show what controls are available. Using items is a pain. Need faster method rather than pressing 'V', clicking item, clicking 'Use'.

Music. Allow me to turn it off. It is ok for about 2 seconds, but too loud and needs to go.

Sounds. Death sounds are 'weak'. Either use professional voice actors or other stock media. Actual human 'screams' sound poor at best in most cases.

Movement with pistol. There is way too much bobbing with the pistol in hand. Once you get a rifle, it is pretty smooth, but walking with the pistol is worse than having to walk (need to add running) everywhere.

Randy,

..................................Moderator comment.....................................

Thank you for your feedback Randy. I agree on most of your points; however, you can run using Left Shift + W. I've already deleted the game as I have too many FPS games to mention here that are far superior to this game. That said, I wouldn't call it rubbish, but its definitely not for me.

I took a look at the demo game video.
This game should be called target practice as that's all it is, no one is shooting back, There is no reason why a soldier is shooting at some men in the distance.
No imagination, same old thing....boring.
