joey, sorry it's not working for you! It's really a hit or miss. Windows is a HUGE series of modules, not a single program. When you get that error, (I get it sometimes, too) it's saying it's not compatible with 1 of the modules you have in your computer. It will say "procedure entry point in module so and so" such as Kernel32.dll (one of the core modules in Windows), and that's the module with which the game is fighting. Modules change over time. Different versions come out and Windows Update can change which version you have. Also, some of the software you install can change some of the modules - though there are protections for this and while it was common in the Windows 9 to ME series, occasional in XP, and not that common in later versions, it's still possible. What you could try is to look up in your help or online Windows SFC - System File Checker. This can take awhile - best run overnight - but this restores the correct files in case 1 got incorrectly changed or is damaged.
One of the problems here is that this and 1 or 2 other developers - maybe it's that they didn't develop these games, which is unclear, but just acquired them somehow to resale - don't bother to take a few minutes to even determine which version of "Windows" they run on. So maybe it's incompatible with your version
A request. It would help us next time if you let us know which version of Windows you have. Might allow us to make some more useful suggestions. For example, and you can try this, there's a compatibility troubleshooter which allows you to run the program as if it's written for an older version of Windows than you have, which it may be. You can look that up in your Help, too. That's also a hit or miss solution, but sometimes will work. Again, sorry it didn't work for you.

Whiterabbit-uk,
Seems to be the day of electrical work today - only we had it at work for 3 hrs - in the middle of the monthly closing work - they have no idea what they plan but always belittle us, when we can't hold our deadlines *sighs*
