Star Fight is a basic Space shooter. Shmups are one of my favorite arcade genres, but this one has some issues. Star Fight was created using the unity engine. When you first start the game it opens in a configuration window that allows you to select the screen resolution graphics quality and if you have more than one monitor, to select which monitor the game will appear on. You can also toggle the game in window or full screen mode. When the game opens you can open up settings and adjust the volume or select to play in Russian or English. Starting the game takes you to a craft selection screen where you can choose to play with one of three crafts.

There are three modes of play, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Clash of the Titans. To move your craft use the A and D keys to move left or right and to fire your weapon use the space bar. Survive incoming waves of enemy craft. To move to the next wave you have to destroy a specific number of crafts.

I found the controls difficult as they are primarily designed for right handed players and never survived past the second wave after playing it for about half an hour, constantly restarting.

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found zero hits from 61 antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcowares home page after the game has installed, but does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcowares home page it earns them some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. Sorry to say but this game is not for me.
Sound effects and music have the volume so you cannot switch one of them off.
Also the spaceship is moved and fired by using keyboard. This is the 21st century and I at least expect mouse operation.
The game cannot set the game play resolution to automatically match your PC.
Removed after just games.

Only works with 64bit editions of Windows and will not run on 32bit installations.

TK, just got a notification email of a reply from someone... the emails never say who... but their reply has not gone public yet... They wrote:

The game.giveawayoftheday.com download I got from here StarFight-db29ak.zip twice now provides only a 64bit executable for "StarFight.exe" if that is the only bundle on offer the poster is likely using a 64bit edition of Windows 10 and not a 32bit edition and made a mistake. Or for some reason they have managed to find a 32bit bundle that I cannot get!
