Star Fight is a basic Space shooter. Shmups are one of my favorite arcade genres, but this one has some issues. Star Fight was created using the unity engine. When you first start the game it opens in a configuration window that allows you to select the screen resolution graphics quality and if you have more than one monitor, to select which monitor the game will appear on. You can also toggle the game in window or full screen mode. When the game opens you can open up settings and adjust the volume or select to play in Russian or English. Starting the game takes you to a craft selection screen where you can choose to play with one of three crafts.

There are three modes of play, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Clash of the Titans. To move your craft use the A and D keys to move left or right and to fire your weapon use the space bar. Survive incoming waves of enemy craft. To move to the next wave you have to destroy a specific number of crafts.

I found the controls difficult as they are primarily designed for right handed players and never survived past the second wave after playing it for about half an hour, constantly restarting.

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game and it found zero hits from 61 antimalware engines. The downloaded executable may include some low level adware that only opens your browser to Falcowares home page after the game has installed, but does not inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcowares home page it earns them some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free.
