We've got a couple of excellent MPC games this weekend and on Monday, IMO one of the best games ever offered here will be available to 20 lucky winners.

Transylvania pack

Mighty Party: Back to Transylvania Pack
In Brief

Suggestions:
Once you've had the opportunity to play Mighty Party, please give some feedback about your opinion of the game, for example, what you liked or disliked about it, or how it could be improved from your point of view . If you don't like this genre at all, please explain why. What, improvements, if any, would change your opinion? There are thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers ideas as to what their consumers (i.e you) would like to see in a game. For example, you could suggest extra content such as better or more original mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see that would make it more appealing to you. Maybe you think the graphics are a little dated and are in need of re skinning, or maybe you've just had enough of the genre and want to see something different or something with more originality? The dlc content will not be immediately obvious, especially if you've not played the game before. Before you can access the dlc pack you must play through the introductory levels.
If you don't win a key, don't mind playing games via Steam or miss the offer totally you can get the game 24/7 via Steam HERE. It usually costs £/$,
Introduction:
Lead your MIGHTY PARTY to victory! Fast 3-MINUTE BATTLES will not let you get bored! Dozens of heroes reveal THOUSANDS of unique tactics to defeat all the opponents! Play Imperial Archer, protect him with Wind Ninja, strengthen them with Magic of Divinity and destroy opponent’s forces!

Installation:
Once you've you received your Steam key for the Back to Transylvania pack you have to activate it via your Steam client. You must have the main free to play game installed first, or have had the game tied to your account previously before you can activate the pack. Once activated it will be permanently tied to your Steam profile and you'll be able to install the game at any time, anywhere on any computer, 'so long as you can validate who you are (usually via emails etc.)'. If you don't have a Steam account you will first have to download and install the Steam client HERE
Then create a Steam profile/account. Once that has been completed you can input the Steam code that you've received (after completing the form filling) via the game button along the top of the Steam client, (located between friends and Help). From the drop down menu select 'Activate a product on Steam'. This opens a product activation window. Just follow the prompts to complete activation. Once the Steam code has been accepted, the game will be permanently associated with your Steam account and can be installed any time you wish.
If you have a problem installing or activating or getting Mighty Party to work, please visit the problems section over in the Game Discussion forums, which I've now incorporated into the FAQ's thread, and which you can find HERE or alternatively go to the Steam forums HERE.

The Game:
Mighty Party is a fun game where your primary objective is to explore the game world and eliminate the enemies which are right in front of you. This is a very fun, distinct and enticing game created with just a single premise. You have to conquer a vast game world, one battle at a time.
The battles take place in a grid-like system, and all you have to do is to summon creatures from your cards and use them in battle. Your enemy will do the same, so it’s all about finding a much better way to eliminate your enemies when compared to your opponents.
Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.02_07h32m15s_054_Mighty Pa

Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.02_07h34m51s_064_Mighty Pa
The game does an excellent job at allowing you to explore different options. It works great simply by making the entire experience more exciting and fun all the time. The graphics are pleasant and magnificent. The character design is particularly attractive. There are dozens of character types, and you can upgrade all of them.
It will take a bit of time until you get the very best experience, but that’s what makes Mighty Party so enticing and fun in the first place. This is one of the games where tactics are necessary. As you explore the game world, enemies will get tougher and tougher. As a result, it can be very hard for you to eliminate all of them.
This is why strategy is very important in this game. You have to find the right approach as you eliminate your enemies, and that can work to your advantage in the end. Exploring the game world does come with its set of challenges since you never know the type of enemy you encounter. But you have to be prepared. There is a lot of fun to be had here, and the challenges are worth your time for sure.

Ashampoo_Snap_2017.06.02_07h37m25s_071_Mighty Pa
They did an excellent job when it comes to the tactical options. Plus, the board does tend to have some boosters randomly spread on a few blocks. If you place a character there, it will be more powerful. Things like this just make the experience more enjoyable and fun, which is exactly what you need to have in the end.
Since the game is a mobile port, you don’t have to worry about typing anything. The game can be played with a mouse only, which is both good or bad, depending on the type of gameplay you are accustomed to.
Mighty Party is one of those games that can take a bit of time to master, but it is worth it. This title has all the fresh gameplay that you always wanted, and it delivers a resounding experience. It can get tough at times, but it also is hilarious and full of interesting challenges. Well worth your time if you are into action packed games that also add in a bit of tactics!

Conclusion:
Mighty Party is a fast paced Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game with adventure elements, a turn based battle system and pvp battles against online opponents. Apart from the initial introduction, most battles are between other players of a similar level. Personally I found the game reasonably entertaining, with lots of rewards. If you like these card based online games, this is definitely worth downloading. Panoramix have been extremely generous over the last year giving most of their dlc packs away. For game play, immersivness and the fact we've had two of the three dlc packs given for free I give this a score of 8 out of 10.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the developer Panoramik for giving away yet another of their dlc packs (we've had at least nine different packs for a couple of games for example Forge of Gods) and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for securing other ways to get free games, in this case a Steam key.
Useful Information not related to today's game giveaway:
The problems section that used to be posted here in the Game review is now included in the Game Discussion FAQ's thread; which you can find HERE.
I've updated the games section that used to be posted with the review. The thread is now called 'Weekly round up of game deals', formerly the games section of the weekly reviews. You can find the new thread (which I've posted in the sticky section of the game discussion forums to make it easier to find if you are perusing the game discussion forums) HERE.
The rest of the information that used to be posted here can be found in the forums HERE. Don't forget, if you have an account with DOT.emu, you need to download any games you have before June, when the site closes permanently. Finally, check out Delenns thread over in the forums HERE. There are games available for free, some of which are limited to the number of free keys available. The thread is worth checking regularly as Delenn has been posting links to various freebies on a regular basis recently.

Whiterabbit-uk, Does this game require Steam to be installed in the pc.
Is it similar to Forge of Gods (RPG)?

Hi Endomonocondo

The key you get is a Steam key, so yes, you do need Steam. You can download the game HERE (via your Steam client), then, once the main game has been installed you can input the Steam code you receive once you've gone through signing into your Steam account via the giveaway page.

Hi, I joined this giveaway a couple of days ago but still haven't gotten the e-mail which is supposed to contain the key. Could you please resend it? Thank you.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

You need to contact the giveaway team via the contact form HERE if possible show proof that you applied for the key the name you used and the email. If you've used other emails previously, the key may have been sent to the first one you ever used to log in.

Reply   |   Comment by Dennis  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

Alright but why do I need to send proof tho? Better yet, how do you even get proof? It's not like people go around screenshotting that "email sent" page every time they enter your mass giveaways, do they? Couldn't the giveaway team just check their records of emails that they send these keys to, match it with the email I'm using (for commenting, at least) and resend the exact same email that they have supposedly sent, if any? And no, I have not used any email other than the one I'm using here.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

Hi Dennis

I said 'if possible' send proof. Some people do screenshot such things, especially as this situation has occurred many times, where community members haven't received a key; usually becasue they have used different emails over time. The giveaway team use the first email used. This was to stop community members from farming keys. Thankfully I got mine within a few moments. My reply to you was trying to be helpful. I have no control or say over how the keys are sent out, I'm just a volunteer who has been grateful for all the free games given away here over the last decade. I suggest you contact the giveaway team via the contact link I've provided in the review and tell them you didn't receive a key. Do mention your name and the email you used. You could even screen capture the comment you made shortly after the giveaway ended. The time you posted was literally only minutes after the giveaway ended. The giveaway was available for three days. You could have queried the lack of a key while it was still live. Keys are usually sent out immediately you complete the various tasks, then it would have been possible to prove that you applied. I don't know whether the team keep records, but it will still be worth contacting them because there were keys left at the end of the giveaway. alternatively, or at the same time you could contact Panoramix and explain the situation. They have been very generous over the last year giving away over 100 000 keys for several different dlcs for both this game and forge of Gods. I reckon (though don't quote me) they will happily give you a key if you don't get any reply from the giveaway team.

Reply   |   Comment by Dennis  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

Yup, already did that as soon as I read your first comment. I was told that I am the only person to encounter this issue with this particular giveaway so it does indeed seem like this kind of issue happens sometimes. After confirming that I have been checking my spam folder as well, I was promptly given a working (I just activated it) key. Thanks for the help—leading me to the contact form—though, mister or miss volunteer who has been grateful for all the free games given away here over the last decade. :D

:)

Glad you got it sorted Dennis. I was pretty narrow minded when it came to playing games before the game giveaway appeared. If it looked like I wouldn't like it, usually from a few screen captures I'd not even try a demo of it. Back then You Tube was still in it's infancy, so it was rare to find any game play videos, so I stuck to the genres I knew and loved (Breakouts, Physics based games like marble rollers, shmups, Tower Defense and the odd platformer). Match Three's, Time Management, Hidden Object, Card games, Mahjongg (the matching pairs version; which to me is not Mahjongg), most adventure games excluding games like The Longest Journey, Riven, Uru and Myst, which my wife bought for me years ago when I first got into playing computer games seriously, as well as some classics such as Beneath a Steel Sky, Another World, Space Quest I to VI, Samorost, (point and click games) especially detective types and most Platform games didn't appeal to me at all. Back then arcade games used to cost almost £13/$20 each and some such as The Longest Journey, Myst and Riven were as much as a AAA game, and I hated demos; so never considered buying them apart from a few platform games such as 'Gish' and 'Wik and the Fable of Souls', both of which included a physics element, (which I love). When I discovered the giveaway site early in Nov 2006, the game side hadn't started, but the main site were giving 2 or 3 games away each week, then the game site was opened early Dec 2006. As all the games were free, I finally had access to full version games from virtually all of the arcade genres and after downloading most of them and playing them, realised what I'd been missing. So I was very grateful to the giveaway site for 'opening my eyes' and within a short time I was writing short reviews of the games that were being given away, more as a thank you than anything else. Eventually my reviews got longer and longer and they gave me access to the admin panel so that I could correct my spelling and grammatical errors. Shortly after getting access I suggested to the team that I moderate as no one ever replied to the communities comments when there were problem and as I retired early (49) due to a serious accident I had loads of time on my hands; that was 9 years ago. I've enjoyed most of it despite the odd troll and have made some great friends. :)

Have a great week.

Looks fun and put together well, but MMORPG's are not my preference. Character graphics look good, and I like that there's a progression in your character's growth. From the trailer, it looks like all you get to do is battle, I think I would get tired of that. I'd like to see more exploring, finding useful items and quests.

I read the reviews on Steam. Reviewers can be harsh at time if a game isn't what they expected, but there were several common threads: need to pay to win, lots of bugs, no true multiplayer since you battle against "bots" instead of other players-- I might actually like that better, as it turns it into a single player game that I would prefer except many people have said how the bots and luck of the draw are unfairly imbalanced. So if it's single-player, why isn't it marketed that way?

Nice to see another Steam game, and if you already use Steam it should be simple & quick to add the free base game and then the key for this add-on. Might not need to download anything today, get it when you want it, once you have the games registered in your Steam library.

That's just my opinion, some folks LOVE this kind of stuff! So I'll pass, but others might like it.

Not really FREE when you HAVE to obtain another base game from STEAM...

Which entails ANOTHER set of hoops to jump thru just to install the base, by the time you are finished with the steam crap, this giveaway will expire.

Nope, not today.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

The only thing you have to do to get the key is click on the button, log into your Steam account via the browser that opens, then fill in your name and email where you want the key sent to. The base game is totally free and only needs to be installed, then you can input the key. There are no hoops. Still, your choice. The game does have a decent following. Panoramic have already given away over £50 worth of dlc over the last year. Free means you don't have to pay for it. There's no cost.

anomaly...,

Sure, no hoops to jump through....

1. The only thing you have to do to get the key is click on the button
2. log into your Steam account via the browser that opens
3 then fill in your name and email where you want the key sent to
4. The base game is totally free and only needs to be installed
5. then you can input the key

Sure, no hoops.

Hi Brenda

Definition of Jumping through hoops: ''To make 'extraordinary' efforts, especially in following a prescribed procedure.'' or ''Do just about anything to please someone. ''. I hardly think signing into a Steam account and typing your name and email so that the key can be sent to you is jumping through hoops.
